Question: Is 300 calories too much calories for one day!?
I am 14 and have been in allot of trouble in and out of the hospital for anorexia!. I now am forced to eat 300 calories a day!. I am soooo depressed!. Please tell me, Is 300 calories allot of food or am I just being stupid!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A rule of thumb is to eat no less than 1200 calories per day!.

Be strong, and you'll be able to get through this!. And no, you aren't being stupid, anorexia is a disease!.

You shouldn't be depressed over 300 calories; you'll learn more about good health as you heal!.

It's not enough for your body to function properly!. Your brain is being affected by anorexia and you have the wrong mindset about food!. Your body and brain need healthy food!.

You need to change your relationship with food!. Food is not your enemy nor your friend!. It is fuel for your body and will give you the body you need!. You get all the nutrients for your body from food!. Your body takes in cancer-fighting nutrients with healthy food!.

Don't think about cutting down on food!. Think about eating enough healthy food--all the bounty of nature that is around you!. Healthy food will give you muscle tone and will not make you fat!. Healthy food will give you energy to exercise and think clearly!. Exercise will help relieve depression and stress immensely!. You will feel like a new person if you eat healthy food, exercise, get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water, limit alcohol use, and avoid nicotine!.

I eat right around 300 calories a day!. There has been research that has shown that people with a lower calorie intake like longer and are healthier!. When I say I eat 300 calories a day I mean that I eat super healthy food!. I don't just eat randomly and count it towards my calories!. If you're eating the right type of foods 300 calories a day is fine!. People will tell you differently though!. Try doing some research on negative calorie foods!. The list is really long and you can combine the foods in all sorts of different ways!. Don't forget to take your supplements!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your not being stupid, you just don't understand what your body needs to be healthy!. And if your battling anorexia, it's also a psychological issue that you are struggling with!.

I hope your getting some counseling or going to a support group!. You need the help of other to get you through this!!

At your age, you really need to be eating 1800 calories per day!. And probably take a good multi-vitamin to make sure your getting all you need to grow!Www@Answer-Health@Com

300 calories isn't even a full meal!. You need at least 5 times that!. :(

If you feel guilty about eating the actual food, then try to drink at least 1-2 cans a day of ensure!.

It will give you at least part of the nutrients you need!.

300 calories isnt much!. each gender and age group need different calorie amounts!.

Omg sweetie no, 300 calories is nothing, that's like drinking 2 glasses of ice tea, no one can survive on just 300 calories!. You need atleast 1200+ everyday and you won't get fat, trust me!.

No depending on your height weight and age you will need somewhere between 1000-2500 go to mypyramid!.gov to figure out how many you need a day however i can guantee you it is more then 300Www@Answer-Health@Com
