It's now been nearly 24 hours since i worked my biceps and abs and my back is killing me right at the shoulder
blades - was i doing my alternating and concentration curls completely out of whack or what?

you are using your shoulders too much when you do your curls and your sit ups. when you do those exercises....concentrate on using only the muscle you are supposed to. dont cheat with the curls. dont use your shoulders when you do the sit ups.
