Eating Only Jell-o To Lose Weight?!

Question:

Eating Only Jell-o To Lose Weight?

I read that John Malcavich (sp) ate only jell-o and lost 70 pounds in 2 months. Is this healthy and why or why not? Is it a quick way to lose weight?

Answers:

Quick fixes are for actors, etc. There body is money. When a role comes up they need the quick fix. Is it healthy? Of course not. Your body needs fuel for energy, mental alertness, well being. The best way to lose weight is hard but long lasting. Eat less, move more. What do I mean by that? You may think it sounds to simple, and yet it is. You need protein, vegetables, fruits, nuts, water. A good exercise program. do not overdue that as you may burn out. Start by walking. Add some small weights. Then go to a gym if you can afford it. If not get a bike or run some. I remember my Mom saying, you burn more calories standing than sitting, burn more by moving than standing, burn more by cleaning your own house, working in your yard. Yo Yo dieting does you harm. You can lose 20 by a crash diet then gain 25 back. Keeping weight off is a lifestyle. You can have treats, sweets. Pick good choices. Don't get me wrong it is not easy. The rewards are many. Good health, a fit body. so, do it the right way, be proud of your accomplishments!!!!
