The best thing to do after a intense workout is to have a protein shake!. Shop around until you find the one with the most protein!. Protein is the building blocks of muscle and when you do an intense workout you are actually tearing the muscle fibers and the protein helps to rebuild that torn muscle!. It is also a good idea to stretch after a workout whether weights or cardio!.
As far as the cardio workout do the same thing because you need to build leg muscle!.
