How to lay off the Pop Tarts?!

Question: How to lay off the Pop Tarts!?
Okay, a few years ago I NEVER ate Pop Tarts!. I was healthier and leaner!. But this winter, I ate a package, and now suddenly I must have a pop tart every morning!. Not a whole package, mind you, but half of one!. I eat very healthy otherwise - no chips, soda, ice cream, etc!. I eat between 2 and 3 packages per week, and I'd like some help in stopping!. I'm not fat - I'm a little on the thin side - but I know these things aren't good for me!.
I used to be anorexic, and I hoarded food!. I don't do that anymore for the most part, except with Pop Tarts - I always have some under my bed!.
Someone please give me a virtual slap in the face!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yes, your right anorexics do hide food! i used to be so obsessed with food that if someone took "my" food i would have a breakdown and cry for hours! i still get pretty irritated if that happens but at least i don't have a breakdown lol! but anyway 1/2 a package of poptarts is not bad at all for breakfast! according to my dietician it counts as a grain, a fat, and a fruit which is not that much! ( i have a meal plan which uses exchanges and a poptart would only take up 3 of them and i need 28 in a day!) so i really don't see a reason to worry! but maybe just put them in the kitchen and not under your bed and then it wouldn't remind you of old habbits of hoarding food!. if thats what you like having for breakfast then i say go for it! i eat the same thing for breakfast everyday - stonyfield yogurt and a fiber one bar! i don't think you need a slap in the face! i think you just need to trust yourself and not put foods into the catagory of good and bad! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you were anorexic, you couldn't have possibly have hoarded food because those people don't eat!. If you don't want to eat pop tarts, don't buy them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are on the thin side and eat healthy otherwise why don't you just limit yourself to one pop tart a day!.!.!.i know they aren't great for you but there are worse things you could be eating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you get the answer let me knowWww@Answer-Health@Com

don't buy them!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First let me say, that one half of one packet of Pop Tarts a day is so not gonna hurt you!. But you have to keep in mind that the only way to not eat them, is to one, not buy them!.!.!.and two, be able to say "No"
You don't state your age, but I am guessing you are young!. Very young!.probably under 25!.
(LOL when yer 46 everyone is young)
Sounds like you need to seek some professional help hun before any of the eating/over eating issues take control!.

You don't need a 'virtual slap in the face"
You need to talk to someone!. There is a big difference tween "Lean" and "Thin"Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay i think that the first thing you should do is start by eating one poptart less a day for 1 week!. then the next week you should eat 2 less a day!. on the third week i think that you should just try to have only one of those little silvery package things a week!. if that means splitting it up so that you can have a little each day or wolfing it down all at once just limit yourself and i think that you will do fine!. good luck! also you should tell someone in your family or one of your friends that you are trying to lay off the poptarts and they will help you and if they see you reaching for one they will be like NO! and they will also support you when it starts to get hard!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your mom to stop buying them!. I am almost 11 yrs!. old and I only weigh 51 pounds!. My BMI is 12!.9 which is pretty underweight!. I eat all that stuff but I stay the same!. !?!?!?!? Life is a mystery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
