How many times can you do a workout before it stops working?!

Question: How many times can you do a workout before it stops working!?
I have heard that if you do the same workout all the time your body hits a plateau!. I have been working out to a video for the past month but not every day!. Should I keep with it or should I try to change it up a bit!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it depends: are you still tired/out of breath when you are doing it!?!? if it is getting easy, you could try going faster than the video and get more reps in, or you could find a new video or switch up your routine!

btw, congrats on being fit! i have been trying to motivate myself for weeks to stick to a routine!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The point of this practice is to keep challenging your body so that your body doesn't get to a point where the workout is "too easy"!.

The body naturally tries to adjust to the demands placed upon it!. A new workout challenges the body, but after a time the body will adjust to it so the demand isn't so!.!.!.!. demanding!.

You should make changes every 4-6 weeks!.

It doesn't have to be a radically new workout!. But instead of doing the workout you've been doing, as you've been doing it, try speeding up your tempo or adding a few extra reps to movements you're doing!. (You can always hit the pause button and do 5-10 extra reps of the exercises on the video!.) Another thing to try is if your are doing a resistance workout, add more weight or tension!.

Another suggestion!.!.!.!. Go out and find a different video workout!. (Example: If you're doing a hip hop dance workout, get a Salsa workout!.)

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to change things up!. You're muscles do need to be surprised to get the best results!. Try alternating between a few different workout videos!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Change up, your body is use to the same excercise!. New movements can proof what your strifing for!. Go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
