Question: How common is it for a 5 yr old to eat properly, and enjoy it !?
I know this little girl!. She eats up a storm, she is always hungry, but it is all good!.
She would rather have raw broccoli , than a cheeseburger from Micky D's!.She eats salads, all kinds of veggies, you name it!. Avocados, tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, Brusslel Sprouts, how many kids will even eat, let alone like, Brussel Sprouts !? She blows my mind!. I could learn a lesson or two from her about my dietary habits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rare!

If she is going through a growth spurt she will eat a lot all the time, but she'll slow down during periods of no major growth!.

Does she get enough protein!? That is really important for a growing body!. She may be a born vegetarian, but the protein is mandatory!.

She sounds very special!.

Kids learn to eat and like what's good for them if they are raised that way!. Mine eat all sorts of veggies, including brussel sprouts!. It's also sometimes a matter of presentation and cooking method!. A boiled to death brussel sprout is nasty to behold, and hard to choke down!. A shredded one briefly sauted with a few buttery crumbs is a whole different experience!. Plus little kids don't know they aren't supposed to like something until some bright bulb tells them so!. Mine eat liver too- I never told them it was "supposed" to be nasty, and they don't generally make the discovery everyone else rejects it until they get to elementary school!. But by then they just like it, and don't care what anyone else thinks!. This little girl will be pretty much the same way, likely!. Besides, a fresh burger at home beats McNasty boogers any day!. That's just a matter of taste buds!. Educate the taste buds young, and they are good for life!. You can do it yourself as well- try different cooking methods with your veggies and find the way you like best!. I happen to prefer turnips uncooked with ranch dip, and the broccoli stems to the tops!. Lucky me, the kids like the tops- and we both get the nutrition we need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Two of my 3 kids are like that!. My 7 y/o daughter would rather eat a tomato than a taffy apple!. My 16 y/o will grab carrots and dip or crackers & cheese, before chips/dip!. They both each 1 salad a day and CONSIDER what they eat & the effects!. (We try raising & reminding them that their body reacts to food)!. I think this worked for the 2 of them!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
However,
My 10 y/o daughter would carry a bag of cotton candy around with her all day-if Id let her!.

Go figure!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
