What's the healthiest breakfast out of the following?!

Question:

What's the healthiest breakfast out of the following?

Out of the following i can't decide which is the healthiest in order to lose weight on my diet, looking for the lowest calories, high in protein, low carbs, etc.

Breakfast 1 : 1/2 egg beaters [ 60 cals.]
1 slice of healthy life bread [ 35 cals.]
1/2 grapefruit OR 1 cup of sliced berries.

2 : 1/2 cup of All Bran Extra fiber cereal [50 cals]
1/2 Skim Milk [ 40 cals]
--1 cup of sliced berries
OR 1/2 cup w/ Dannon light and fit yogurt.

3: 1 packet of regular flavor oatmeal [ 100 cals.]
sprinkled w/ 1/2 scoop of whey protein. [45cals.]
1 fruit [ orange, 1/2 grapefruit, 1 cup of berries.]

4: Ouaker Weight Control Oatmeal [160 cals.]

Im not sure how the weight control oatmeal works if anyone could explain if i would just have that or w/ some fruit or if any other suggestions or new ideas! thx

Answers:

you should definately go with the first one with grapefruit. BUT, Not everyday the same thing. Variety is the key to sticking to a diet (so you dnot get bored). But I do insist that for every breakfast (and at every meal) eat or DRINK NATURAL grapefruit juice. Its a natural fat burner. Also, you need to eat more calories than that for breakfast. Breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day because it gives you your initial energy and kick starts your metabolism to function throughout the day. So, I suggest the following:

one egg (real egg) (80 calories) scrambled or pan fried with pam nonstick spray (fat free)

one slice of wheat toast with fat free butter OR sugar free marmalade, One serving of yoplait fat free fruit yogurt, and a glass of natural grapefruit juice. There you have protein, dairy, fruit and complex carbohydrates. Its a breakfast of no more than 250 calories and a perfect mix to start your day.

you can also try this (I LOVE THIS)

3/4 cup of all bran extra fiber cereal, glass of grapefruit juice, and instead of the milk, mix some strawberry or raspberry fat free yogurt in the cereal. Its DELICIOUS.

or, The oatmeal breakfast is good.

Try mixing all three of these options throughout the week. Remember, Variety is key to not getting bored and sticking it out :)

HOpe this helps
