What foods have glycogen?!
Question:
What foods have glycogen?
like fruits that i can eat that are normal fruits no exotic fruits.
Answers:
Well, there is a rather long scientific explanation, but let me see if I can make this simple.
Foods don't have glycogen.
Glycogen is made by your body after the meal you have eaten is broken down into blood glucose (also called blood sugar).
The liver stores glycogen.
Your muscles also use glycogen, but this is not the same glycogen than is used by the cells in your body elsewhere.
Insulin plays a key part in the making and utilization of glycogen in your body. More so than any particular food.
I'm not sure what you are wanting to know this for, so if you rephrase your question and tell us what you want to accomplish, perhaps we can give you a better answer.
