You need to rest a day between workouts.
If you want to build your arms, you will also have to work the triceps (the muscle at the back of your arm) and the deltoids, the muscles on top of the shoulders, along with forearms and lats.
Working all the muscles will give you balance, size and strength.
Here's some starter info on how to build your arms. A 6 week program, even if you have only a 20 lb weight should show you results.
