Question: Im a 13 year old boy and need to lose wieght, Can you help!?
I'm a thirteen year old boy and I am packing some extra baggage that i don't like!. I was wonder ing if anyone could help me with my problem!. By the way im am about 5'6 and 205 pounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, diets and all that are a good thing to do, but there's one solid thing you can do that will always produce results!. Running!. Long distances are good, but I find that short sprints are much more effective for weight loss and muscle gain!. Mark off forty yards or so and just do sprints with as little break in between each one as you can manage!. Once you're comfortable with forty yards, step up to fifty and beyond!. Another excellent workout for losing weight is this jog-walk-sprint thing I do for college!. Find a track that's about a quarter of a mile long and start off at one corner!. Sprint from that corner to the next!. Once you reach the second corner, jog to the third!. At the third corner sprint to the forth!. At the forth corner walk to the first and repeat!. Do this for fifteen minutes and you'll likely notice weight loss very fast!. But remember, build up to that!. Don't start off doing vast amounts of running!. It's bad for the body!.

Push-ups and sit-ups are also really good for turning fat into lean muscle!. That way you can tone your muscles up and lose the fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have two ideas 1: Did you see that show with that guy telling people to eat conciously!. That if you eat slower your brain will be able to tell you that your full; whereas if you eat normally your brain can't tell your stomach that your full because its busy trying to digest your food!.
2: Of course you have to diet and exercise but there is a machine that I think can be found in some YMCA's that you blow into it and it is able somehow to show you how many calories your body can burn at rest!. so let's say for example that your body can burn 2000 calories a day at rest; all you have to do is eat less than 2000 calories and if you exercise that will burn even more!. Good old exercise and a balanced diet!. And really, most of the weight thing is about what you eat!. Most of your diet should consist of fruits and veggies and light breads, and a lot of people forget that, so we end up with whole meals made of junk food and massive sandwiches filled with meat and cheese!.

Try making your own food at home, avoid vending machines, keep yourself active and moving while your not doing anything (like doing sit ups while you watch TV), drink lots of water to fill you up and occupy your mouth when you're not physically hungry, but feel like eating, get a good night's sleep, don't snack on anything except fruits (rather than going for a chocolate bar like most of us do), and start writing down things you eat during the day as you do it (it's always a bit of a surprise)!. Just try to stay balanced, do it for your health instead of your appearance, and don't get too obsessed with it!. You're only human!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't obsess!!! That's the best advice I can give you!.!.!. there's so many "diets" and "eating plans" that revolve around obsessing over what you eat!.!.!. you can be aware of what you eat, but just don't obsess!.!.!. besides that, you're only 13!.!.!. chances are, you're going to get taller!.!.!.
