Question: Im a 13 year old and i weigh like 150 help !?
hey im 13 and weigh like 150 and i hate all my chest and stomach fat and my chin is getting to big !. i want to know some effective techniques and exercises that help you effectively lose as much weight as you need to !. im up for eating healthy and new foods if your sure they work !. im looking to lose at least 40 pounds !. please helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, you're height also is related to your weight, the taller you are the more you're going to weigh!. But, if you really want to lose weight first eat in small portions!. Don't eat huge meals at a time, but eat healthy foods in smaller meals!. A yogurt, chips and salsa, fruit!. Also, slowly start excercising!. Pace yourself!. You don't want push your self too hard right away!. You also don't want to go overboard with losing weight!. Get yourself healthy, and keep yourself there!. Don't hurt yourself, you're lovely no matter what!. You're family and friends will love you for who you are, and that's what you live for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat healthy foods!. You should eat from all food groups except for sweets!. Eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and no snacks!. (only sometimes(once a week)!. Work on all your muscles!.

Push-ups(Regular, Diamond, Wide, One-handed)
Bench Presses
Pull-ups (Do different varations(don't know any but use site below for some)
Crunches
Bicycles
Hammer Curls
Dumbbell Triceps Extension
Leg Lifts
Squats
Run

I suggest using weights but not heavy ones like around 5-15 because you're only 13!. Go to a higher weight maybe 2 weeks to a month!. When you're 14-15 you can use heavier ones!.

Do like 2-3 times 10-15 reps for each and get higher around 1-5 after each day!.

You should work on your upper body(arms, chest, and others) on one day, then abs on the next day or one day rest in between!. then legs(run and do those exercises on the next day after abs or rest in between!. You have to rest each muscle group for 1-2 days!. If you rest for one day and it still hurts don't work it out till the next day!. Muscles need to regenerate to get bigger!.

Don't work out one muscle group more than the other or you body will become like deformed!. Like big arms and chests, but small legs and it'll look funny!.

Do stretches before and after exercises to avoid injury!.

Okay, this is what you do!.

You need to make a perfect triangle with your life!.
One being Mental, Physical, and Social!. If one of those is shorter than the other the whole triangle is going to mess up your life!.

Eat healthy, and excersise!. At least an hour a day!. Make sure that you are hydrated!.
Do not stop eating, that only slows down your metabolism, and makes you get fatter faster than ever before, eat when you are hungry!. Know when to stop eating dude, the problem is that you might over eat!.

Find a comfortable level of "full"!. Do not under eat do not over eat!.

Make sure your triangle is perfect!.

Eat healthy and excersize, if you want to lose weight, burn more calories than you eat!. Check Nutrition facts on your food!. If you want to maintain a solid weight keep those 2 equal (consume and burn)!.

To excersise just watch the Fit channel on your TV!.
Run, play out side, umm there are many things you can do actually!.

im 13 to and even tho i dont way quite that much my goal this summer is to lose weight what i find really hopeful is if u have a very active brother like i do or a firend thats active u dont even need to really "work out" just hang out with them spend like three hours a day outside at least three times a week and healthy foods kind of work but my dad goes to personal trainers and stuff and he said for this age it more depends what time of day u eat just dont eat junk after 6:00 do all ur junk food eating before then so u can work it off playin around outside i hope i helped and good luck =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok well lets see everyones bodies are different
i would say running would help alot like a lot of cardio work
and well im a teenager a girl and haha i am a vegetarian
but u dont need to be that to be healthy mabye just cut down on the sweets and if u do want them eat them early in the day not at night just eat lots of fruits and veggies and try ur best to eat as healthy as possible and cardio work outs and maybe weight lifting i hope this helps =)))Www@Answer-Health@Com

im 14 i know how you feel, kind of!. im 120 lbs but i still excersize every day and every monring i ride my bike it helps a lot and i do 300 crunches every night!. if you lost 40 pounds youd be 110 lbs!. This goal is not realistic!. You should tell yourself you want to lose 1-2 lbs a week until you are happy with your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are at a perfect age to start adopting healthy habits!. I, too, was heavy all my life!. At age 40, I had gastric bypass surgery and lost 100 pounds, and then had $20,000 worth of plastic surgery, none of which was covered by insurance, to get rid of stretch marks, and sagging!.
You can look up your ideal weight on many websites, but at 5''6", (an inch shorter than me) I'd estimate it at about 140 or so, unless things have changed a lot!.
So!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.the GOOD news is you're really only looking at 20-30 pounds!.
Cut out ENTIRELY fast food (McDonalds - Taco Bell, etc) - EVEN if it seems healthy, like salad, it's not (look at the calorie information which is available if you request it)!. Salad may seem the healthiest option but the dressing is often a killer!. Learn to like oil and vinegar or plain lemon juice on your salad!. Cut out stuff like bacon, fried foods, pizza, etc!.
Eat 4 or 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 big ones!. Eat until you feel "satistifed", not full!. If you are of Hispanic origin, this is going to be harder to pull off, but convince your family you have had enough and then stop!.
Take a multi vitamin and calcium daily!.
Try doing something active every day, even if it's just walking someone's dog around a block or two!. Walking is great exercise for a beginner, and you'll really notice a difference!. Plus, if anyone sees you walking a dog, they won't single you out as "trying to lose weight", they'll just think you're walking the dog as part of your daily routine, so it won't be like joining the track club, or the local gym and running in to someone from your school that will judge you
