Question: My mom cooks nothing but fattening foods!?
and that's all there is at the house!.!.!.so i'm overweight!.!.!.!.how can i lose some pounds!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your mom won't alter her cooking, make your own food, or eat less of what she cooks!. Eating less in general will help!. Also, go for a walk after each meal, start working out on a regular basis (20 minutes, 3 times a week = only an hour a week), or even do sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks before bed/your shower!. Anything you can do that causes you to burn more calories than you take in will help shed pounds!.

first of all you gotta have the will power and strength to not eat what the rest of your family is eating!. Watch your calories and carbs do some research if you can to see how many calories you should be taking in daily!. Don't starve yourself! But remember that controlling your portions helps!. If you think that it will be hard to stop drinking soda just cut down on your soda intake and then when you can try to drink just water!. Believe me just drinking water will help tons!. If you get tired of plain water there is flavored water!. Try and be more active in your daily routine!. Exercise will help you, if you don't like workouts find something that is fun and will allow you to exercise at the same time!. For example, roller blading, dancing, swimming, and maybe bicycling!. You should try and work out all parts of your body and don't over work one part make sure you rotate which muscle you are working on!. Most importantly if it's hard for your family to understand do your best to help them understand how you want to be healthy and perhaps you might get them wanting to be healthy too!.

In a healthy diet you should eat a small portion of meat and lots of vegetables!. Try to stay away from carbs because that is like eating straight sugar!.
