Are there any ways to tone the lower abdominal muscles?!


Question: Are there any ways to tone the lower abdominal muscles!?
I work out five times a week, but I have arthritis at such a young age and that limits me from working out my legs and doing cardio!. I always work on my abs as well, but can't seem to get rid of any extra fat on the lower section of my abs!. Is there anything I can do to tone the bottom area as well without putting strain on my knees!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They should not cause your knees any problem!. You do need to do cardio exercises with these workouts to get the fastest results - maybe swimming 3 times a week which would support you a little more!?

It is a proven fact that the way to burn the fat off the belly is through cardio!. You can exercise the muscles and firm and tone them, but it does not target the fat in that specific area!.

Now, you can't do traditional cardio, but perhaps you can get to moving your upper body enough that you get your heart rate up and keep it up for a good 20 minutes or more!. That's all cardio is actually!. :) Just getting that heart rate up and keeping it going!.

There are some great core exercises in yoga that will help tone your core muscles more too (in ways that crunches just can't seem to do)!.
