Question:

Answer this if you are a girl?

what are some signs of your period. im 14 and havent started and only 2 of my friends have but they are tall. im short i had cramps the other day but what are more signs

Answers:

First of all it doesn't matter whether you're short or tall, how big you are, etc, when it comes to your period. When you get it is dependent on genetics, or sometimes if you are very active that can delay your first period. I got it the day I turned 14, but the average age is probably about 11-14. Usually besides cramps, the first sign is blood. If you start to see bleeding, then tell an adult, either a school nurse or one of your parents. They can help you out with any other info you want to know. Most girls/women get what's called PMS, or premenstrual syndrome which accompanies
menstruation---> (the shedding of the lining of the uterus, i.e.- the bleeding part). PMS is completely normal and is different for every girl, but it can include cramping, irritability, cravings, breaking out (pimples), breast tenderness, mood swings, etc. For me, it isn't as detectible, but for some it can be severe cramping/mood swings, etc.
The main thing to watch for is blood. You will almost certainly know when you get it!
Hope that helped. :)
