Question: Am I off to a good start on a diet!? Please let me know!.!?
Okay!. Im starting a diet today!. So far!.!. This is what I ate(Around 7:00):

Breakfast:

-lowfat yoplait yogurt 99% fat free
-1 cup of Lipton Vanilla caramel truffle tea

Snack Between Breakfast and Lunch (around 11:00):

-Quaker Oats Chewy bar

Lunch(12:00):

-Salad (Lettuce and american cheese, with 2 tablespoons of wishbone italian dressing!.

Is this GOOD start so far!?!? Please help!

--And one more thing, what do I do if my stomach starts growling in between these times!?!?What should I eat!?!?--

Answers:
stay away from the italian dressing and go fat free salad dressing instead!. In between eat lots of veggies like celery green beans cucumbers or carrots!. Also protein bars low in fat are great!. But so far so good here are some additional tips:
eat these foods



lean meats such as chicken and turkey that is baked or grilled not fried
power bars with low sugar
bran buds(fiber helps with digestion and aids in weight loss)
salads
low calorie soups
apples
Salsa(speeds up metabolism and helps fight cravings)
egg whites (limit yolks)
whole grain or whole wheat bread and brown rice(NO WHITE!)

Make sure you are drinking at least 80 ounces of water a day !
this is key to your weight loss!. It sounds like a lot but it really isnt!. Mix water with crystal light if you need some flavor

Green tea also speeds up metabolism

dont eat past 7 at night


Drink 16 ounces of water as soon as you wake up in the morning this boosts energy and metbolism

As far as exercise goes do 1 hour of cardio a day 5 to 6 times a week!. This includes but is not limited to running, speed walking, swimming, elliptical!. Go to a gym and do resistance training 3 times a week or find some good list of exercises on the internet that can be done easily at home!. You CAN do it!. KEep telling yourself that!.

Also dont forget it is ok to indulge every once in a while!. Studies prove that every once in a while can be a boost to the metabolism!

I don't consider yogurt healthy!. When I did eat it, I didn't find it to be very satisfying to begin with!. The tea might be okay, but I'm not really in to tea!. I'm a coffee person!.
I don't think Quaker granola bars are healthy!. They're filled with partially hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, artificial colors, etc!. In a pinch though, I think they're slightly better than granola bars!.

For your salad, romaine lettuce or spinach would be better than iceberg!. I don't do cheese either!. I also usually find just lettuce salads with veggies and beans not very filling!. Most conventional dressings seem to contain high fructose corn syrup and other fake stuff and I don't know about Wishbone Italian!.

If you want a snack, go for fruits and veggies; all-natural granola bars (I buy the ones from the Trader Joe's grocery store) a slice of whole wheat bread with Smart Balance or peanut butter, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!.!.dont obsess to much!.!.!.its too much hard work and ull tend to give up quicker! just eat more healthy cut down, only eat when your actually hungry- not bored- or youd be amazed how we mis-interperate thirst as hunger, so sometimes just having a glass of water will help, or brushing your teeth!.
Anytways and also stop eating when your full !.!.!. no need to finish whats on your plate!. Dont be so hard on yourself!.!.!.if you know your going to do it!. try and enjoy it!.!.!.do fun excersizes, get ur friend together play sports, rounders, etc!.!.!. and you could try eating fruit inbetween!.!.some grapes!?
