Why do I feel I've worked harder on a treadmill then normal walking?!


Question: Why do I feel I've worked harder on a treadmill then normal walking!?
I walk the same pace!.!.!. Same distance!.!.!. same time!.!.!. but how come it feels harder on the treadmill then it does going for a walk!?
I even sweat more on the treadmill!?!?

Could It be the incline of the treadmill also!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, the incline of the treadmill could make a difference!. also when you walk, well when i walk anyway, sometimes i find myself slowing down a bit, whereas a treadmill keeps a steady pace and will "push" you if you start to slow downWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is also warmer indoors where a treadmill would be!.!.!. no breeze = stuffy air!.

The boredom may also play a factor in your perception of effort!. You have nothing else to concentrate on!Www@Answer-Health@Com
