Did i work out for nothing?!


Question: Did i work out for nothing!?
well i went to the gym today i went on the treadmill for 1 hour & 5 mins and burned 442 calories!. I then got on the bike for 35 minutes and burned 175 calories!. So in total i burned 675 calories!. Well, when i got home i had 2 oz of regular pasta which is 210 calories according to the box, then i had it with the meaty ragu sauce that was 70 calories half a cup that's exactly what i had!. I had a cracker with it and a piece of sausage that would about to be 150 calories!. On my way home from the gym I had a diet coke and a low fat yogurt that was 90 calories!. The diet coke was zero calories unless sodium has calories!.!.!. but uh!.!.!.!. my intake was 520 calories!.!.!.!.!.!. did i workout for nothing!? does that mean i gained the weight back!? I'm so dissapointed in myself!.!. but i had to eat and i tried to be as healthy as possible!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK!. When you eat, you are supposed to take in an average of 2,000 calories!. That's just to keep your body running regularly!. You can look it up, but there are ways you can calculate how much calories you need based on age, weight, height, level of activity!. You're not supposed to zero out the number of calories you consume; exercise is a way to keep your body fit and burn excess fat/energy!.

u shouldnt be dissapointed in urself cause even though u didnt loose any weight you also didnt gain any weight just try to cut your meals in half and stick to your exercise!. eg: feel like eating pasta instead of eating the whole thing it half of it now n if ur still hungry half later!. and eat slowly your stomach takes 20mins to tell ur brain tht its full!.!.!.!.!.!.!. Take account of the calories you burn from just being alive (metabolism, im guessing about 2000) you are very much in the negatives!.

Eating little does not mean eating healthy!. Eating healthy means eating enough to sustain yourself while getting vitamins and minerals you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop looking at working out as a calorie game! You're trying to build fitness, long-term changes in your physiology that makes you fitter!. Don't worry about the numbers, just try and eat relatively well and keep active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 13 and was anorexic at nine
I'm still recovering from anorexia and have been hospitalized twice!.
At first I did not want to recover but now I do as I have a goal to live life and be a successful runner!.
Recovery is hard and you need a good therapist but it's better than whittling yourself down until you die!.

P!.S 300 calories is not a lot
I have to have these meal supplement drinks twice a day which are 350 calories plus a normal 13 year olds diet just to sustain my weight!. Plus I get to do some running!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

here is what my dietician recommends - follow a practical diet!. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein!. eat 900 gms of veggies a day!. Start your meal with a big salad or soup!. have a snack every three hours!. fruit (ideally berries) or soy nuts!. just 2 tablespoons of soya nuts subside hunger pangs !. substitute white bread and rice with brown!. lose one kilo a week!. that is the ideal!.
Pick an exercise regime you like!. then you are likely to stick to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well!.!.!.you have to work out like everyday and eat healthy if you really want to lose weight!.For example i do work out everyday,eat cereals for breakfast,fruits and i don't know!.!.!.i like fish and chicken wings for lunch and i have dinner at 6 pm but just fruits sometimes even just two apples!.Anyways i eat like this for about a year so I got used to it and I don't even get hungry,drink just water and fast food!.!.!.no way!You should not start eating like me if you use to eat much because your body would not be used to it!.You should work out and reduce the amount of food in time!.It worked for me I am 168cm height and i weight 45kg but I;m just 15 years old!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
