Question: I think I did wrong!?
Okay I haven't eaten any solid foods for three days!. I really want to lose weight!. I was doing good until today when I drank a milkshake and I had a rootbeer!. If I take a laxative and exercise like crazy, will I get rid of the rootbeer and milkshakes negative effects!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sweetie, you are going about weight loss in an incredibly unhealthy and dangerous way!.

First of all, an all liquid diet is not a long-term solution!. Even if you lost a couple pounds from not eating solid foods, you will gain it back as soon as you start eating normally again!.

Secondly, depriving yourself of healthy food and a normal diet will more than likely lead you to binge, as you did with a milkshake and root-beer - which are both very unhealthy and laden with fat and sugar, as I guess you know!. If you allow yourself to enjoy things in moderation, you won't feel the need to binge!.

Thirdly, laxatives can be extremely harmful to your body, especially when taken for diet reasons and excessively, unlike if you take them rarely when it is actually needed!. Same can be said for excessive exercise!.

Fourth, when you deprive yourself of enough calories, you may actually gain weight because your metabolism slows down in order to save the body from starvation!.

Dieting and losing weight is all about balance!. A diet of balanced foods and exercise is the only way to really lose weight!.

When you don't have any solid food your blood glucose level drops dramatically!. Which will make you crave sugar fast to spike it, probably why you drank those things!. You need to eat solid foods healthy solid foods and small portions spaced out into 5-6 snacks a day!. You will lose weigh fast and healthy, but this isn't something you will want to stay on forever theres just no joy in it but its a good diet!. Yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken, egg whites!. stick to those for a week or two and it'll melt off if you workout!. Oh and by the way Root beer (12 oz) 170 calories and 44g SUGARS and milkshake 640 cals and 88 g sugar!. If you weigh 150 lbs you will have to swim for an hour or run for about 45 mins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just forget about it!. the laxative isnt going to stop you from absorbing the calories what made you think that!?
Exercise will, but what your doing isnt very healthy and it wont make a very big difference anyway, just forget about it and keep doing what your doing if you are that desperate but your going to mess your body up and get sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am no expert on losing weight!.!.!.but it sounds to me that you are going about it all wrong!.!.!.

If you don't eat!.!.!.your body will hold on to everything when you do decide to eat again!.!.and in the form of fat!.!.!.for survival purposes!.!.!.

The idea of using laxatives for weight loss is a sign of a possible eating disorder!.!.!.or being on the cusp of an eating disorder!.!.!.very harmful!.

Why are you starving yourself!?
I nrefuse to to answere about the laxative!.
If you starve yourself, you will only lose muscle, not a good thing!.
Do a sensible diet!. The rootbeer and milkshake were probably your body starving, Don't worry about it!. And do some sensible dietingWww@Answer-Health@Com

probably not completely, self discipline is something that you just have to work on over time, just keep trying to stay away, don't focus on being able to take care of it afterwards because it takes a lot more than just running for a bit to burn off the negative effects of a milkshakeWww@Answer-Health@Com

i HEARD but im not sure that the most important thing is organizing ur sleeping hours !.!. second exercising n playing sports !.!. and then food !.!. u must eat but jus eat less proportions and try to play sports !.!. so its not jus the food that makes u fat ! You have to play sports too !.!.

Try eating slower n dont eat while watching tv !.!. it jus makes u wna eat mre !.!.
