Help with eating healthy when my dad only buys junk?!

Question: Help with eating healthy when my dad only buys junk!?
I eat as healthily as I can at my mom's house, but I only live there half the time!.

I'm dieting, and my dad doesn't want me to!. He only buys chips, pot pies, hamburgers, sodas, donuts, and things like that!. No vegetables at all!. For dinner he usually gets McDonalds!. This means I have to eat as little as possible since all my choices are unhealthy!. Today so far I had a cookie and a double cheeseburger from McDonalds (I'll probably have to have the other double cheeseburger for dinner and have nothing else to eat today, or have nothing at all)!. He'll get mad if I suggest we get healthy food!. I'm not able to go anywhere to eat!. What can I do to eat healthier here, if anything!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

McDonalds has grilled chicken and salads, veggie and fruit kind!.!.!.!.make healthier choices when eating out!.!.!.!.!.Do not tell your dad that you are dieting, tell him you want to eat healthy food!.!.!.!.tell him junk food makes you feel bad, makes your tummy hurt and makes you tired after you eat it!.!.!.!.!.offer to go to the store with him and pick out some fruit and veggies!.!.!.!.next time, take some groceries with you!.!.!.!.!.have your mom speak to your dad on your behalf about the food choices!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get interested in cooking and ask your dad to support in your interest by allowing you to cook for him!. You don't have to tell him this is part of a health regime!. Ask him to let you "practice" your cooking skills on him!.

Start simple, basically ANYTHING you cook at home will be healthier than what you are eating now when you are with him!.!.!.once you are cooking you can offer to help with grocery shopping and get more healthy foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you're with your mom, have her buy some food that you can bring with you the next time you're at your dads!. make sure it's something that you can keep with your stuff so he doesn't try to throw it out or something!.

it's kind of ridiculous that your dad is against you eating healthy!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you go to mcdonalds, order a grilled chicken sandwich, no mayo!. or get a salad!. just because he goes to McDonalds doesnt meant you have to order a cheeseburger!.!.!.!.and if you do, dont order a double!
get a diet cola!.!.!.!.!.

tell him you want to EAT HEALTHY but not really "diet"!. watch the movie "Super size me" with him :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Next time you go to a fast food restaraunt, try either getting a salad or just a plain hamburger, nothing with cheese on it!. Or a grilled chicken sandwhich and an iced tea is good, not the healthiest, but still better than a double cheeseburger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your mom to talk to him, explain you don't want to be super skinny , just healthy!. You may convince him this by working out and promising him to eat more if you can eat healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pack your own lunch!. McDonalds is friggin poison and dense caloric!. Tell your careless dad to parent like a man and not poison himself with **** and drag you along with him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Last time I checked McDonald's had salads too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh you poor thing! That is sad!. You can make a list and show him on paper that veggies and healthy foods are cheaper than fast food!.!.!. plus you have left overs!.

It takes no time at all to grill a chicken breast and throw a stirfry together!. A whole bag of frozen veggies (huge bag) is like 6 $ at walmart and a package of chicken breasts is what 5$!. That could feed you for three days probably!. Throw a box of kashi cereal and some organic milk and your good for less than 20$ and all your meals are taken care of for 3-4 days!. Hopefully your dad listens!. You can always come at it that your worried about his health and you want to be a good daughter and help him be healthy too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
