Question: I am obese and need to lose weight during summer break!!!!help!!!?
ok i am obese my weight is 180 pound and height is 5' 4 and also i am only 14 year old!.!.!.!.!.!.!.my older bro also makes fun of me cuz i just sit and watch tv or stay on the computer and dont go outside to play football or soccer with him!.!.i just cant do anything cuz i get super tired wen just run around for a min!.!.!.!. wen i go over my family house they also like WOW U REALLY GOT FAT and i do a fake laugh and act like every thing is kool but it not i hate it so much like everyone who was fatter than me are now losing weight and i am the only one who just cant !.!.!. so i really need to prove somepeople wrong that i can lose weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, dont listen to anyone!. Confidence helps ALOT when you're trying to lose weight!. Dont be depressed cause your family is saying you're fat!. I know its hard but it helps TREMENDOUSLY!

Second of all, get away from the tv and computer!. At least the tv!. When you're watching tv alot of the times you'll feel hungry when you're really not!. At least with the computer your attention is being directed a little better at something else rather than eating!.

Third, I think dancing is a GREAT way to lose weight!.
Fast paced dancing really burns calories, and slow, ballet typed dancing not only tones but also burns a great amount of calories if you do it long enough!. The lower you are to the ground and the slower you go, the more of a workout you get!.!.!.esp in your legs!. :D Its also great for cardio!. So try doing that for a week or two every day or night or whatever and it should increase your cardio endurance and then you'll be able to go out side and play sports and not get a tired as fast!.

Also be sure to drink lots of water!. Cold water I HEARD burns calories!.
And green tea!. Really speeds up the metabolism! Also make sure you eat breakfast cause that helps too!.
If you have a dog, take your dog for a nice long walk!.
Cleaning house can also be a workout lol!.!.!.AND!.!.!.!.it will make your parents happy :]
And the most obvious!.!.!.eat well!. Stay away from salty things (they bloat you), sugary foods and drinks, eat tons of raw or steamed fruits and veggies and snack on them all day!.
Getting plenty of sleep helps as well!.
And most of all, keep your will up! Once you let it go, it will make this process way more difficult!.!.!.which always sucks!
Also have fun with it! (like dancing! :DD)!. Thats always important too!.


Annnd then there is also the cabbage soup diet that was create by the American Heart Association and its completely healthy!. My French teacher in high school did it and lost 15 pounds IN A WEEK! You have to follow it strictly though!.
Im not sure all the details how to do it, but I think you should really look into it!. :]

wow, that's tough!. Start by getting away from sitting in front of the tv and computer, you're not burning calories that way!. Simply get more active! You are very young, and still able to train your body to be more athletic!. I'm not saying go out and join a football team or anything just yet, but start creepng into more activities!. If you have a dog, take him for a walk everyday around the block, then 2 blocks, etc!.!.!. If not, just walk with a friend or alone!. Walking will make a big difference! Also, drink a lot of water and water only! This flushes your system, has no calories, and you'll feel good and hydrated! Find any activity you can to keep moving (instead of sitting at cpu) even pacing the room, dancing, mowing the lawn (your parents would love that!)!. Cut fast food from your diet (that'll make a huge difference!) and eat sensibly!. Don't do a "diet" because they just don't work! Use common sense, be a fun active kid, and the pounds will fall off! hi pal let me tell ya some tips!.nos!.1-stay away from the pc,tv,chair ,bed!.!.!.!.as long as u can!.that will hel ur body to gain stamina!.and then after a week u go for workout!.but it doesnt mean that after a week u can go to bed any time!.dont go for extreme coz that would harm u!. more u take rest more3 u get fat!.i m not saying thaat u should keep working whole day!.u can go to ur freind home!.go for shopping!.what i mean to say is u should keep urself busy in different actvities but physically!.pills r of no use just avoid them!.coz dt will harm u in long term!.byee!.hope u get urslf slim by this sumr brk!.goodluckWww@Answer-Health@Com

i also weigh 180 i just excersise and eat healthy!.!. dont listen to your friends or family or the bullys!.!.!.!. they used to make me cry at school and i would eat my lunch in the bathroom!.!.!.!.!.!. my family told me that i couldnt lose 10 pounds in two weeks!.!.!.!. boy did i prove them wrong!.!.!. i lost 15 pounds!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. and dont say that you cant do it!.!.!. i was almost the same size as my mom and she weighed 200!.!. but i told myself "i cant od this if i get this big then i wil get made fun of even more" so i started dieting and excersising and i lost 15 pounds in two weeks and everybody that made fun of me felt really bad and they were writing me letters, notes, e-mails, and coming up to me in the hallways!.!.!.!. just stay healthy!.!.!.!.eat healthy!.!.!. and have fun cause we are still young(: hope this helps
