i dont wanna go on any big diets!.!.!.i just want to lose some weight!.!.!.!.!.im 5'2'' and 108 pounds!.!.!.!.i just want to lose about 5-10 pounds

(most of this will defend what you're trying to do, some of it is just interesting information I thought you might enjoy)


First I'll explain some medical info for you and your family and anyone who thinks you're doing something you shouldn't!. Then I'll explain to you the best possible way to go about eat, keeping up a good level of nutrition, and exercise, so you can maintain a healthy look and wont have to worry about any kind of eating disorders or anemias!.

I usually don't answer questions with advice in opposing opinions from what people are trying to attempt (even though I'm sure I would think you're "skinny" too) but I do hope you'll read my answer and appreciate me posting this!.

Currently you have a BMI score of 19!.8 which puts you in a category labeled "Normal Weight" BUT this category is huge, compared to the other categories!.

Other categories include Obesity (scored from 30 or greater) Morbidly Obese which is anything of score 40 or above!. Over weight, and underweight are also categories in this "health indicator!."

Your category (Normal) falls between over weight and under weight!. So, you're basically right where you want to be!.

The Normal category ranges from 24!.9 down to 18!.5 (you're 19!.8)!. So, you fit well into the lower range of this category!.



A BMI (Body Mass Index) factors in ONLY your height and weight!. Keep that in mind, it's important later!.


If you were to lose 5 pounds your BMI would be 18!.8 Which is extremely close to the LOWEST healthy "Normal Weight!."

If you lost 10 pounds and were to weigh 98 pounds, your BMI would be 17!.9 Which has fallen bellow the extremely Healthy range!.

First I'll explain some of the dangers of falling into the "too skinny" category, as your parents might call it!.

Secondly I'll explain why your parents should be able to relax and let you lose your weight and why you shouldn't be too concerned with the BMI system and your parents opinions!.

Ok, so the downsides are that you could potentially develop anemias, and other eating habits/disorders that can be life threatening and just a plain pain in the A$$!.

The reason you're most likely not going to be too concerned is that the BMI was designed for people who have completed their growing cycle and are "adult!." It also only takes into consideration your height and weight!. This is a problem for extremely athletic people (especially people in the overweight categories) who are extremely muscular!.

In your case, you are not yet considered an "Adult" and your BMI should be scaled down some, which would place you back at the bottom of the Normal Weight category!.





I'm currently in a program with a couple doctors working on some BMI and other test (I'm not a doctor, I'm an Engineering Student) but my family spends an average of $9000 a year on personal training and nutrition!. I have a very advanced understanding and knowledge of how you should go about achieving your overall goal!.


First of all, if you want to just lose weight quickly, don't expect it to be healthy at your weight!. At your weight you should expect to lose weight much slower but you should still be able to get reasonable results with this system!. I would expect a loss of around 2-3 pounds per month!.


Eat 8-9 times a day!. The meals should be spread out throughout the day evenly!. Eat AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP!. Don't wait to get a shower and go to the bathroom, well if you really need to!. But it is important to get SOME food in your system to begin your digestive and metabolic systems!.

For breakfast I would suggest a small piece of fruit or even half a piece of fruit!. Avoid grains except PLAIN oatmeal!.

Expect to be hungry!.!.!. If you're going to school, pack small bags of some kind of dried meat like beef jerky!. If you hate beef jerky, you can try packing one and a half boiled eggs (for each small meal)!. At night you should consider taking a soy protein shake (soy can help maintain metabolic states in your sleep) it will help help you lose weight in your sleep!. Also at night eat a small reasonable meal of 4-6 oz of meat, and 5-7 oz of a very green vegetable!. Never eat starches or bread/noodles/carbs!.

If this isn't working you may want to try taking a liquid L-carnitine supplement in the morning!. I would suggest GNC's cherry flavored liquid supplement!. It actually tastes pretty good! This will also boost your metabolic rates and help you burn more weight during the day!. I would suggest taking it in the morning, do not take it at night, it will keep you up!. Durring periods of weight loss sleep is very important and you're going to need lots of it!.



Exercise!.

Walk fast, where ever you're going!. Act high strung and goofy if necessary!. Enjoy working out or do something physical every day if you're not the Work Out kind of girl!. If you live near a beach or lake, going for a jog in a bathing suit and some some shorts/sports bra and then taking a swim is an extremely fun and powerful weight loss exercise!.





So, I hope that what I'm explained will help you achieve your goals!. The diet should be done 2 months on and 1 month off for the best results!. on the month off just eat cautiously!. Don't over indulge!. Find some random hobby that involves a lot of physical work and you'll be well on your way to an always skinnier but also healthier life!.

You are skinny though and your parents and other people would not be good people if they didn't try to tell you so!. So, I can't really judge for myself, not having pictures or other information to go by, but YOU SHOULD BE SKINNY judging by the info a I have!. You should probably see a doctor about anemias at your weight and I would suggest keeping a log of your weight and what/when you eat!.

Always consult a physician before starting any diet some weird guy told you about on Yahoo Answers !.!.!.

well you're going to have to eat in front of them, so just make sure that its healthy!.!.!.!.but is a meal!. but when they're not there, do how much exercize you wanna do and eat what you want to!.!.or how much you don't want to!. good luck!. at the beginning of your diet, only take away about 1-2 hundred calories per day!. hope this helps!. :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

tell your parents that you ate a huge lunch and you dont want to eat too much for dinner every day also try taking little steps to get exercise such as leaving the phone in the next room so when it rings, u have to run or taking stairs instead of elevators when shopping with friends
