How can i get stronger but get less muscle gains?


Answers:

I would not necessarily say more reps with less weight in this case. Depending on how strong you need to be... You should research power lifting routines and exercises. Try some of these. I know some 140 pounders that look like skinny computer nerds but they can bench over 300 pounds raw for multiple reps. Isometrics is also very good, and powerlifters use a lot of these movements.

Another source I would highly recommend is Bruce Lee's books on training. I have one called "The Art of Expressing the Human Body" that has tons of great routines in it for doing just what you want. Bruce Lee was very slim and trim and had super-efficient, dense, and flexible muscles.
