Any other exercise ideas?!


Question: Any other exercise ideas!?
I have been trying to lose weight and I have been walking for about 5 days a week on varying scale of 30 to 60 minutes!. I usually walk for about 40 or more minutes!. But, anyway, I am not seeing much results any more, and I have been reading that if you do the same exercise over and over your body becomes used to it!. So do you guys have any ideas on what else I can do!? There is no one else home so I can't do a two person thing!. I can't go anywhere like to a gym or to a swimming pool (no ride)!. So any ideas!? Will a biking machine mix it up enough to start seeing more results!? My grandma has one!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That body getting used to it thing is very true, it happens to alot of long distance, cross country, and marthon runners, who forget the values and importance of stopping to do a sprint every once and a while, to gain speed!.

Anyway to start off I must say walking itself, doesn't do a good job of causign weight loss or body reshaping!. So scratch that all together, and turn that into jogging or running and alternate the speeds you jog or runn to fast and 50% speed days!. The biking machine will mix it up!. Just change the order you do things every 2-3 weeks, to keep that stasis point from coming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think biking is your best bet!. However, the best exercise is mixing in cardio with some weight training!. It would probably be best if you bought some light weights and starting using those as well (mixing in push ups, sit ups, etc would help as well)!.

I know it doesn't need to be set, but remember that proper diet is just as important as exercise in losing weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you need to do more and a more everyday!.!. its not really that you are a doing the same exercise its that you are doing the same amount!. so your body gets use to it!. so do more!. or do like a jog!.!. or the bike machine will work too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why not get a real bike!.!.!. Or increase the pace of the walk!?
You could do some excerciese with tv shows or rented vid's !.

if you have a wii you should get a wii fitness game!. you can lose weight while having fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Biking, running, lifting weights (will help your stomach muscles), doing workout videos!. Oh ya, and eating healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
