Will running up and down the stairs for 2 hours a day make help me lose weight and inches?

I want to loose about 25 pounds by the middle of august....will running up and down the stairs everyday help me lose weight? ...Along with jumping rope for thirty minutes?

Anything that elevates your heartrate for significant periods of time will burn a decent amount of calories. How many depends on a lot of factors.

25 pounds by mid-August is a stretch. You'll have to significantly restrict calories in addition to the exercise.
