Is it good to eat 30-50grams of protein a day???!


Question:

Is it good to eat 30-50grams of protein a day???

I've counted my protein intake for the last 2 weeks and its between 30 and 50 grams...its mostly beans and chickpeas! I run a lot and exercise...i dont know if this is healthy. Do I need more proteins or what??? what will happen to me if i dont eat more???
i eat around 1400-1500 calories and run 4miles a day.
im 5'8 and i weight 150lbs

That's about right for a normal person. Of course if you were building muscle or work out alot, you would want to increase that intake.
