First of all I would like to say diet pills are dangerous and are only a short-term answer. When you lose weight due to these you gain all the weight back and it's unhealthy for your body. With that said...

If you can commit to exercise at least 3 days per week, and make a slight caloric deficit (no lower than 1200, but I would recommend about 1400-1500/day) eat 4-6 meals a day, and weight train 2-3 days per week. If you eat 4-6 small meals a day you are keeping your metabolism high all day and you will burn more calories throughout the day, and will stay less hungry.

You can also join www.sparkpeople.com It is a free website that offers a food calorie tracker and exercise calorie tracker, bulletin boards, lots of free articles offering advice and everything is free. This site has been a major motivator for me to keep exercising on the days I don't feel like doing anything! I have a support system where everyone in the bulletin boards cheer each other on and do an awsome job of keeping everyone motivated. Good luck to you!
