How can I help my girlfriend get in shape?!


Question: How can I help my girlfriend get in shape!?
My gf gained 16 lbs since we started going out 2 years ago!. It wasn't much at first, but now is very noticable and she's very depressed about it all the time!. She's also very lazy so never does any exercise!. She's just started using Kinetic for the Eyetoy, which is good, but I really can't see her keeping it up for long!.

She get's very defensive about this and comfort eats a lot too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello!.!.!.I've been where she's at!.!.I gained 80 lbs with my daughter and looked in the mirror one day and realized that I was huge!! Although my husband never complained, it depressed me!. I started weight watchers and walking which turned into running and I lost 116 lbs total in just a year!. It seems she doesn't have near as much to lose but with us women, it doesn't matter b/c all we see is fat!. I HATED exercise but when I realized that was the key to losing the weight and keeping it off I started walking 2 miles 3 days a week at a local trail!. The best thing you can do is give her great motivation like suggesting to join a gym together or walk together!. Also, encourage her to eat healthier by eating healthy with her!.!.!.try Subway instead of McDonalds!. By doing this, she'll see you as wanting to help than being embarrassed by her!. You can do it, just help her open the door to the exercise & healthy foods and once she sees that 1st lb drop!.!.thats all she'll need!! Just be there for her!.

Well I've been with my boyfriend for almost two years and have gained 12 pounds!. He doesn't think I need to lose weight, but I do!. I would try joining a gym with her if you are not already a member and going to the gym with her!. Also, I suggest cooking light healthy dinners together!. If you can convince her that you are the one that wants to be in shape, then she will probably feel like the fat one in the relationship and join in on "your" effort to lose weight and end up losing weight herself!. I actually did this with my boyfriend and he lost 20 pounds!. He started eating healthier and we go to the gym together at least 3 times a week!. Make it a partner thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, why are you sooo worried about her weight!?
If its for your own personal reasons (you dont want to date a fatty or something) then you really aren't respecting your gf!.!.!.
but if its for her, like she asked you for help, offer to go on a jog with her or join a gym with her!.!.!.you'll both lose weight and tone up and she'll lose more weight because your supporting herWww@Answer-Health@Com

the best thing to do is exercise together, movtivate her and explain to her that if she wants to lose weight and not feel depressed about it then she needs to exercise, but try to do it along with her, its alot more fun and easier when your not doing it by yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

exercise with her!. take her her on a long walk instead of to a movie,etc!.
also, give her things like flowers instead of candy and if you go out to eat, take her to a healthy place, instead of some al you can eat buffet!.
