I live a sedentary life style!. Will I gain weight because of this or only if I overeat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even if you don't overeat, what happens when you are sedentary is that whatever muscles you have gradually turn into fat!. It really leads to a most uncomfortable quality of life!. For a long and healthy life you need to find some kind of recreational exercise that is enjoyable for you and practice it at least four times a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People gain weight because they over eat and don't exercise!. If you live a life style where all you do is sit, then you had better keep a close watch on your calorie intake!. Being sedentary also creates lots of other problems, like poor circulation, fatigue, and even insomnia!. So get and move a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't say if you will gain fat, because even just sitting we burn calories, so basically it depends on the amount of calories you take in!. One thing is for sure though, you will lose muscle, and muscle burns fat, even while sitting!. If your injured and can't help it, that's one thing, but please don't make this your goal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

We all have what is known as a resting metabolic rate!. This is the amount of calories we burn when we're not doing anything!. The larger you are, the more calories you'll burn at rest, which is why larger people with more fat to burn will burn it faster than someone who has less to lose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will probably be heavier!. I used to have an active job that I rode my bike to and I didn't much worry about what I ate!. Now I eat less and have a more sedentary job, and I have gained about 8 lbs!. I still walk at night to try and not gain anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YES, all the calories that you don't burn, even if they come from healthy foods will be stored in your body as fat!. Why!?!? because gram by gram fat has more calories and the body will try to storage the extra calories in the most convenient way!.
So a sedentary life style will lead to gain weight if the amount of calories consumed are not burned!. In other words you don't need to eat too much to gain weight!. If you consumed a mere 2000 calories at day but are only burning 1500, the 500 remaining calories will be stored as fat!.
My advice is to include at least 20-30 minutes of physical activity at day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
