Help me loose weight before school starts?

i am 13yrs old 5'6 and 210lbs, i need to know what is a good goal for me to get down to. i also want good diet and excersize tips. i am going to 8th grade and want to look my best and have more friends and a boyfriend. when i was 11 i never dreamed of getting up to 210 lbs. i need help, so pleez give me some good advice to loose weight fast.

You have to change many things in the way you are thinking. There are consequences for going too far. I knew two people who were obese as children and managed to become very beautiful, one like a supermodel, and the other like a football player. These turn arounds from very fat to supermodel are extremely rare, but they do happen; but the man always sounded tired in his voice, regardless of the consequences, if any, I don't know, it is possibly to change radically, but it must be a life long endevor.

It is about three things 1) diet, 2) exercise, 3) your value system and associated state of mind.

What will ultimately define you is how you react to social pressures, but then you must set your priorities or value system.

Start by walking, walk as much as you can 6 days a week. Then build up to more exercise. Study dance. Set a goal to become a dancer or dance teacher. I have a friend who is overweight but he has become a professional dancer, but if you start young, then you will be in better shape when you become an adult. Don't worry if your movements are not well defined now, you will learn little by little. And dancers have some of the highest job satisfaction, particulary dance teachers.

Do not eat fast food, never, it is very bad, it is better to not eat than to eat fast food. Do not eat frozen foods. You must eat as well as you can, steaks, fish, vegitables.

You can eat 3 good size meals per day (or if you are eating small portions then 4 small meals for adults) but they must be healthy meals. Does you mom know how to cook?

Getting a "boyfriend" is not important, getting a boy friend (two words) is, but in either case, it is all about character and personallity. But your weight is a part of your personality, though you may not think it is. So you have to change your mindset. If people are not telling you how beautiful you are now, work hard and then people will not be able to look away because you will be so beautiful. If that is one of your goals then make it one of your goals.

Join the track team, and even if you can not participate in distance competitions, support the team and walk around the track. Take dance lessons and or practice at home with a mirror. Remember professional dancers are athletes.

You must first learn to love people. And then you will have integrity, and that is all you need. Self love is a trap which leads to greed and conceit.

If anyone tells you it is not important to become a supermodel then they are lying to you. Those are the people who are successful at sales, successful at realestate, successful at modeling, successful athletes, succesful newcasters.

But of course you must accept yourself for who you are because change is a slow process. You will be the same but different.

In my philosophy I believe that those who set very high goals, not that they must reach them, but that they must move ever towards comming close to reach them, shall find that they go far in life, and who knows, some of them may reach such a high goal.

A failure can loose 20 pounds in 2 months, but a Success can loose 80 pounds in 10 years. And things happen in cycles so weight will go up and down, but that is not the concern, the concern is if it is going down in the long term.

You are still growing, so you must stay well nourished, but the key is more and more exercise and healthier food.
