Question: How is this for todays food -opinions please!?
Brunch: 1 small hotdog in a bun with ketchup = 260cals
Dinner: 1 english muffin with low fat butter = 150 cals
Dessert: 1 snickers icecream bar = 150cals

Drinks: Water and 1 can of soda!.

Exercise: 30-60min brisk walk
I wont have anything else to eat today

Unacceptable!. I'm not even sure where to start!.!.!.

WAAAAAY too few calories!. A grown or mostly grown male should be taking in a minimum of 1600 calories per day while trying to lose weight!. It should be more like 2200 when you want to maintain!. The minimum for the average adult to even maintain proper organ function before your body starts eating your hair and whatnot is 1200 per day!.

You've got little more than protein and carbs in there, and certainly not even enough of those!. Calories are far from the only consideration in a healthy weightloss oriented diet!. You need protein to build and maintain lean muscle mass, and you're not getting much with the fools diet outlined above!. You should be getting 65-80 grams per day!. You're getting, what, 20-30 something, or less!? You'll lose muscle fast with that!. You're getting NO vegetables, which any dietician or trainer will tell you is a huge part of a good weight loss program!. Think about it, lots of veggies have a LOT less calories per mass than the stuff you're eating!. You can fill up, not be hungry at all, and not be overdoing it if you start your meal with a nice big plate of veggies cooked a healthy way!. You're also getting no fruit, which is also important in a good diet!. You're currently at risk for developing scurvy, among other unsavory ailments!. There are lots of vitamins you'll get from the fruits and veggies that you don't have at all up there!.

Eating as infrequently as that is going to stall out your metabolism!. What you SHOULD do is eat many many small meals and snacks, every couple of hours!. That speeds it up a lot!. Even if you starve yourself down a few pounds with the above, besides the health problems you'll be facing, you'll just gain the weight back as soon as you start eating enough for your body to properly function!.

If you want to lose weight, why on earth are you throwing soda into your diet at all!? Give it up cold turkey!. That's what I did, and I actually dislike the taste of it now!.

A brisk walk of that length daily is a great way to lose weight, though you might want to up it to jogging once you have the stamina to do so, or vary it up with other types of cardio, to give yourself a change of pace!. You'll also want to incorporate some weight training and toning exercises!. Lean muscle mass burns calories much better than fat, and if you really are out of shape, you will just turn the fatty areas into skin saggy areas if you don't tone them as you lose the weight!.

Please stop the awful unhealthy stuff you're doing to yourself, and good luck with your weight loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you need to eat 2 meals a day, with 2 or 3 snacks in between!. Eating less to lose weight isn't going to help you!. In the long run you are going to wind up gaining weight, believe it or not!.
For breakfast, try an English Muffin w/ low fat butter!. Have some orange juice too!.
For a snack, try a granola bar or banana, or other fruit!.
Then for lunch try a low fat burger or some other healthy thing, like yogurt!.
For a snack, eat fruit!.!.!. or just have a shake!.
For dinner have a hotdog or sandwich or potatoes!.
Then for snack eat ice cream, or something else you like that's healthy!.
I would reccomend lots of water, no soda though!. You can't lose weight if you're drinking soda!.
The walk is good!.!.!. do that everyday!
If you eat less than normal your body is only going to burn the amount of calories take in, so your not losing anything!. You're really destroying your body!. Just eat healthy, 3 times a day w/ snacks, and exercise regularly!. Start out easy, then go to more strenuous activities!.

Might want to double up on a few of those!. It's not terribly healthy, but if you can get to the grocery store tomorrow and get something healthier, you can make up for it!. :P It's just not enough calories the way it is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you need more calories!. 560 calories a day is a crash diet!. You need more vegetables and fruits!. Starving yourself leads to overeating in the long run!. Hotdogs, snickers ice cream!? Try eating chicken, turkey, low-fat cheese for protein instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Way too many empty calories!. You should be focusing on lean proteins and vegetables!. Cut down on the carbs and the white sugar (no soda!)!. Your eating today is not healthy at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
