Starting work out after almost 2 yrs, what shoud i do?!


Question: Starting work out after almost 2 yrs, what shoud i do!?
after 2 yrs im starting to workout again, i feel extreme weakness in my muscles,
what is a suggested diet, and what are the good workouts to start with!?
i also need to lose about 25lbs!.

A great deal depends upon your age!. You'll progress faster to your goals if you are younger and !.!.!. the opposite is true, too!.

Regardless, start off slow!. Do not exhaust yourself!. If you can get a partner, you'll stick with it longer!. However, the key to weight-loss is to exercise !.!.!. the longer the better!. So, on the first day go 20 minutes and extend your work-outs a few minutes each day until you can exercise for an hour straight!.

A great guideline to the proper level of exercise is that you should be exercising at a level low enough so that you can talk to another!. However, your level should not be so low that you can sing!.

Do something you like to do !.!.!. walk, jog, run (you burn the same # of calories each mile no matter which of those you do) !.!.!. swim !.!.!. play racquetball or basketball !.!.!. But, no matter what the exercise is, the longer the better EXCEPT at the start when you should do a little less and take a month or so to build up to greater amounts!.

You will NOT lose weight by dieting !.!.!. look around and ask others !.!.!. They lose and then gain it back!. The only real way to lose weight is to exercise!.

With regards to what you should eat !.!.!. avoid all things that are processed and white, in particular salt, sugar, and flour (bread, pastsa, etc)!. Eat a lot of plants and small amounts of protein/meat/eggs (you actually need only about 4 or 5 ounces [120 - 150 grams] per day)!. The plants that have a lot of color are better for you, too!.

You know you're getting into shape when you recover (stop breathing hard !.!.!. stop sweating !.!.!. you return to normal) more quickly!.
