Question: My new diet starting monday!.!.!.loseing 30 pounds in 8 weeks!!! WHATDO YOU THINK!?!!?!!?
so im going away the second week of august and i want to weigh at least 129, im 5'7 and 158 right now

Diet::::

Breakfast- 2 egg whites or a protein shake
Lunch- chicken
Snack- 2 egg whites or a protein shake
Dinner- chicken

workout:::
1 hour everyday of cardio
-running
-elliptical
-turbo jam
and
1 hour pilaties 2 times a week

(doing 1hr pilaties and 1hr cardio everyday for the 2 weeks before trip)

I think that's a fine workout plan, and an absolutely terrible diet!. Also, at your size and weight, 30 lbs is an unhealthy and unrealistic goal!. Shoot for 20, and then it's okay!.

You're getting nothing but protein, and though it's hard to say since you don't give portions, it sounds like you're not even eating enough at all!. The average adult needs a minimum of 1200 calories per day just to maintain proper organ function before it starts eating your hair and nails and such for nourishment!. Being as active as YOU plan to be, you should be taking in a minimum of 1500 calories per day, and should lose weight easily on that!. Make sure to make it balanced, which it very much isn't!. Add in some fruits and veggies, at the very least!. You're at risk for developing scurvy, among other things!. Drink lots of water, too!.

You might want to add some light weight training and toning exercises into the mix, too!. If you lose any substantial fat bulk in an area without toning it while you lose the weight, you'll get saggy skin!.

i think truthfully!.!.!.!.it wont last your program is to hard!. You DONT need 1hr of cardio everyday try HIT training instead of slow cardio if u do 1 slow walking you can do about 15 HIT running and you would have more results!. HIT is basically ill give an example running you fastest for 30 seconds then walking for 30 seconds then running again at your fastest then walkin and etc!. it really works!. trust me otherwise ur food is great try add some vitamins and minerals ull need if ur planning to lose alot of weight in a short time!. i think you should take a before and after just to compare!. I'm on a diet right now and i have lost 20 pounds in 19 days!. once you loose 15 pounds you will feel so much better about yourself and more confident!.!. i checked your bmi right now your normal weight border lining obesity!. losing 30 pounds will put you far away from obesity!.!.!. This is not a good plan, mostly because your nutrients consists of just chicken and eggs, and no fruits or veggies at all!. Also, you don't have much dairy, or healthy carbs!. Try this plan:

Breakfast:
*Remember that breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day, up to 700 calories is still healthy for a man
1!. 3 egg whites
2!. 1 cup of fat free or low fat milk
3!. 1 piece of whole wheat toast
4!. 1 cup fresh or frozen berries

AM Snack:
*Remember, snacks should be frequent but healthy
1!. 1 handful of walnuts
2!. 1 Polly string cheese

Lunch:
*Lunch should be at around 1:00 each day, because any change in the schedule could mess up your metabolism
1!. Grilled chicken or turkey sandwich on wheat bread with provolone cheese
2!. 1 serving of carrots and broccoli
3!. 1 peach

PM snack:
*Remember, eat until you are no longer hungry, but not until you are full
1!. 1 apple
2!. 1/2 serving of multi grain wheat thins

Dinner:
*Dinner should be the smallest meal of the day, and should be full of pure protein with no carbs at all
1!. Some sort of grilled fish (salmon is always good)
2!. 1 serving of a green vegetable

Dessert:
*Dessert should be enjoyed every other day, and in small quantities
1!. Cut up a banana into circular pieces and drizzle 1 tablespoon Light Hershey's Chocolate Sauce over them

Once you do this or something very similar for 2 weeks, and have lost some weight, you are ready to start with the working out part of this plan!. Start with some walking 5 times a week, 1 mile at a time!. Then slowly add jogging to 2 of those 5 days!. That way you are jogging 2 miles and walking 3 each weak!. Then add the jogging to 1 more day, but on that day, jog 2 miles!. Work your way up to jogging 3 miles 3 times a week, and walking 2 miles twice a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
