Question: Need slimmer legs (calves/knees) knees ESPECIALLY!!?
how do I do that!!!! its summer! i rly need help with my knees tho! theyre chunky and ugly! how do I fix that!!? and calves too! anything that doesnt involve to much running let me kno ( i dont have time to go running) i've heard wall sits help, is thAT true!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try this stretch!.
Prayer
Start by sitting in a crouch position making sure your heels are off the floor!.
slam your palms slammed together like your saying a prayer!.
then stand up slowly making sure you use your legs to push through not your bottom!.
make sure your hands and arms follow bring your arms and hand right up above your head!.
then start back in your starting position!.
Never let your heels touch the floor!.

One leg squats!.
start by standing next to a wall on one leg to keep your balance!.
Make sure your foot is flat on the floor and take yourself down on one leg as far as you can go!.
Then start in starting position!.
Make this a fast movement one!.
so your up and down!.
Swaps legs!.

You can't really change your genetics!. Try a wall-sit!. After you sit there for 30 seconds you'll relize that it works the Quads and Glutes, not the knees or calves!. If your overweight the only way to lower your body fat is through diet, light total body wieght training and cardio!. There's no magic formula!. Are they chunky because their fat or because you have muscle!? Some of my friends have really big calves, but its just because they are thick and full of muscle; but not fat!.!.!. Eating healthy and excercising would help if it is fat, but if its muscle i have no idea!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Running is really the best thing to do!.!.!.but you can also do simple excersizes like having your feet flat on the ground then lifting them up so that its like your on your toes while you flex your leg muscles!.!.!.that helps with toning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Include these foods in your diet:
whole wheat or whole grain breads and pastas (NO WHITE!)
apples
green beans
lentils
salad with low cal dressing such as balsamic vinegartte!.no creamy ones like ranch
celery
dip your veggies in spicy salsa because it fights cravings and most healthy spicy foods speed up metabolism
green tea also speeds up metabolism
Drink at least 80 ounces of water a day(need to do this for weight loss and believe me makes it much quicker)
oat bran or bran buds cereal (fiber aids in digestion, makes you feel fuller, and aids in weights loss
DONT EAT any chips, soda, candy, doughnuts or any other forms of processed sugar junk food!. This is the type of food that is horrible and makes you gain weight the fastest!.
Limit pizza to only 1 or 2 slices if you really feel the need for it
chinese food is horrible because they use all sorts of chemicals in there sauces and it is full of hidden calories!. Instead order the steamed chicken and veggies with brown rice!.
Egg whites (try and limit yolk that is where all the fat is)
lean meats such as chicken and turkey that is baked or grilled and not fried
Soy milk or skim milk
low calorie yogurts
fat free cheeses

As far as execise goes find something that you love doing and stick with it!. For instance here aresome form of cardio you could do: Elliptical, swimming, running (best form), speed walk, stair climb, or bike riding!. Do 1 and a half hours a day 5 times a week and youll see results fast!. Go to a gym and do some strength training a few times a week or if you cant just make sure you get a good stretch!.

Other tips

dont eat past 7:00 at night or the food will just lay in your stomach

keep a food diary to make sure your not going over your calorie limit!. Try and stay between the 1300-1500 calorie line but in your case since you want to loose weight quickly stick to 1200

Also once in a while it is ok to indulge a bit, but dont go overboard!. Studies show it can boost your metabolism!.
