Weight loss/ tone up?!


Question:

Weight loss/ tone up?

I'm trying to lose a few pounds and tone up a bit. I run. I eat pretty well. I also do things like push ups, crunches, sit ups... etc. what else should I do?

Oh and I also do yoga and I am a teen (if that helps at all).

Is there anything else I could be doing to see better results??


Answers:

If you want to lose weight, do it the old fashion way, eat salads, whole grains and fruit. Try to steer clear of bread, pasta, and anything else with carbs. To tone up, try using weights when you exercize and run. I use 8 pd weights, you can start out at 3 or 5 pd.s and work up. Also Tae Bo is great for toning!! Use the resistance band, it helps alot!!!
