Lose weight riding bike?!
Question: Lose weight riding bike!?
I was wondering!. I ride bike a lot and people say I can lose weight like that but I don't see any changes not for months but for years!. Can I lose weight like that!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been riding a bike (everyday - everywhere - and on all terrain, mostly road) and haven't lost any weight!.
I've been doing this for a little over a year!.
I do at least 10 miles a day!.
I've recently started to drive instead of rde places and have gained about 10 pounds!.
From the riding, I have the same weight, but leaner muscle mass, less fat looking, more muscular and toned, especially in the front of my elbows I see some definition which was never there before!.
Thinner thighs and calves, same weight!.!.!.!. I am losing fat SLOWLY, and replacing with muscle, which weights more!.!.!.!.!. BUT ALSO THIS WHOLE YEAR, I stopped eating healthy and have been eating pretty bad by my standards!.!.!.!.!. I'm getting back into eating healthy, and exerising on top of the riding!.!.!.!. and losing weight quicker!.
YES cycling helps alot! try to average 20mi + at least 4 days a week to see some results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Forget it!. I just read this article about weight loss from several different weight loss experts, and basically, working out will tone your body, but it doesn't do much at all for weight loss!. Cutting calories is the only way!. I know, bummer, right!? Because if you think about it, you would have to ride a bike for HOURS and HOURS to burn 1,000 calories, but you can cut out one Big Mac and chocolate shake, and you've saved 1,000 calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Riding bike will result in a healthier lifestyle and contributes to your fitness and physical performance greatly!. However, you also need to balance it out by eating healthy foods!. Riding a bike isn't going to be much help if you're gonna put it all on again by going home and devouring 2 whole hamburgers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
