Answers:

NO !. A supplement is just as the name suggests - a SUPPLEMENT !. It`s something that you add to your diet to IF you need to bring your levels of a certain mineral, vitamin, etc up to NORMAL levels. Unless you`re carrying out an awful lot of extra exercise then you really don`t need anything other than plenty of good, wholesome food. People in the developed countries of the World get more than enough of the minerals and stuff that they need in what they eat daily. Remember, a supplement isn`t meant to take the place of ANYTHING, it`s an add-on, nothing more.
