How do i put on weight healthily?!


Question:

How do i put on weight healthily?

I have a bmi of 16.25 which is underweight i have always been slim and i dont diet and i want to put on 6.5 kg so i can get my bmi to a healthy 18.5 has anyone got ideas that can help me put on weight healthily and give me a rough guide of how long it will take?

p.s: please dont say you are fine as yoo are or anything like that or i wouldnt even bother asking if i didnt want to change

First off you have to EAT more - BUT - eat the good stuff, not junk. To gain GOOD body weight I`d seriously suggest that you start a weight training program. Join a gym or get yourself a set of weights. They don`t have to be anything great, just a barbell, two dumbbells and about 50lbs of plates.Read some bodybuilding mags. or get on-line to a site called " Mens Health ". I think it`s menshealth.co.uk but I`m not sure of the address. Anyway, a search engine will find it for you. You`ll get tons of info. on diet, training, etc. If you stick to it you`ll gain good quality muscular weight. Forget about bread and shakes before bed `cause that`ll just make you fat. Good luck.
