Question: At this rate, i deserve to be fat, right!?
i'm 17, 140pounds and 5'2"

i can exercise, i like to exercise, but when it comes to junk food i cant stop stuffing my face!. i love sugar and hate the fact that i do!. i must not want to be thin enough!. what i need are motivational words!. so im asking you to vent, rant, give useful information, advice, whatever you want!. i need to stop eating fatty foods :( :( :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

My sister and I both started out thin!. I'm still thin, but she isn't now!. However, we both would eat a lot of junk food like that too!.

Over the years we started having health issues that were odd!. They kept getting worse!. Started turning into serious problems!.

Mainly, female issues!. We both got endometriosis!. My sister kept having miscarriages!. I still can't have kids yet!. But then we developed other problems!. I ended up with rheumatoid arthritis and lupus!. Keep in mind, this started in our early 20's!.

Turns out it was all related to our diet!. All that junk food and sweets, fats - that was creating an acidic environment in our bodies!. It makes your body less oxygenated!. And when your body is acidic and less oxygenated, your systemic yeast grows out of control!. This in turn makes your body even more acidic!. It also allows harmful bacteria to multiply out of control as well!.

All this then makes your body become autoimmune!. You start developing an autoimmune disorder such as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, lupus, PCOS, endometriosis, etc!. The list goes on!.

These are disabling, crippling, and EXPENSIVE disorders that can be lifelong, and also will eventually kill you, usually at a much younger age than you would have lived otherwise!.

I've been bedridden before with my arthritis - in my 20's!!! That isn't normal! I've had to take chemo and other medications that mess up your body!. I may not be able to ever have children!.

I also have a friend with a very similar story!.

Having said all that!.!.!.!. my friend and I both have gone on a raw diet and "detoxed" our bodies!. She started a year ago, and is now very thin (she was over 200 lbs and only about 5'6")!. Her health problems have resolved!. I just recently tried this myself and started last month!.

I've only been doing it a month - and all of my health problems have already started to resolve themselves!. Even my bloodwork shows this!. My doctors are pretty amazed that all of this is reversing back to normal!.

It's all about not eating processed foods, fatty foods, sweets, etc!. Pretty much just eating mostly vegetables (raw or lightly steamed - don't cook - it takes out enzymes and vitamins needed for this to work), some fruits (minimal - since they also have sugars which yeast thrives on), avoiding meats and dairy!.

I know, it sounds pretty harsh - but faced with a lifelong debilitating condition, which has cost me a lot - maybe no children, job problems, expense (just in 5 years I've spent tens of thousands on medical bills) - it's worth giving up those foods I was used to for a short while to potentially cure myself and reverse all of this!.

In addition to eating better like that I have taken more magnesium, digestive enzymes, whey protein, probiotics, etc!. to help re-oxygenate my body and fight off bad bacteria and yeast!.

Of course at this point for you, you could probably just have to adjust your diet and not have to "detox" with those supplements!.

THIS SHOULD BE YOUR INCENTIVE!.

You don't want to potentially have a lifelong condition that could prevent you from having certain jobs, from having children, that could cost you TONS in medical bills, and could cut your life short!. You don't want a bad quality of life!. Trust me!.

You are still so young and have your whole life ahead of you!. Just evaluate what you want out of life, and then think, is that KFC, that hamburger, that Twinkie worth it!? Is it worth your life!? Is it worth feeling sick everyday!.

You can do anything you want in life if you put your mind to it!. Just know that you are a person that has so much potential and it shouldn't be wasted!.

Start incorporating healthier foods!. Start exercising!. Maybe just by doing something fun like playing tennis, basketball, etc!.

I'll give you a link to alkaline foods vs!. acidic foods so that can give you an idea of how much of what you eat/drink is good or bad for you!.

Eating healthy is a choice, just like eating Junk is a choice!. Choosing to buy healthy foods over junky foods is a choice!. Make one choice at a time, Starting right now!. If you find that you are eating junk without thinking about it, as soon as you realise you are eating junk, choose to stop eating the junk and go choose something healthy to replace it!. Some one also recommended drinking a glass of water, I agree with that!. When you feel the urge to snack, drink a glass of water, and wait a few minutes to see if the urge goes away!. if the urge is still there, go grab a handful of almonds, or a few baby carrots, or an apple!. just a few thoughts:

don't keep junk food around you (especially at home)

thinking you deserve to be fat will keep you staying fat (or yo-yo-ing)!.!.!.it's not inevitable, and it's not a death sentence

take a day at a time, an hour at a time

find recipes for sweet tasting things that aren't as bad and eat them in moderation (molasses cookies, angel food cake, fruit)!. I eat skinny cow ice cream treats after dinner every night

ask yourself "am I eating this because i am truly hungry!?" and go from there!. I often want to eat when I'm not hungry, and need to find something else to do (make a phone call, work in the garden, etc)

remember that losing weight at a slow rate is best!. I've been at it for 6 months and have kept off 20 pounds (with LOTS of off weeks and bumps in the road)

You can do it and it will feel so much better that any junk food tastes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fatty junk foods are addictive this has been proven - studies carried out using rats show that those fed on a diet of junk food are hungry more often and eat more than those fed on proper rat food (whatever that is)!.

So you have a choice, quit the junk for 2 weeks - you will need at least this long for the junk food cravings to stop!. You can actually eat quite a lot of food and still lose weight as long as you cut out the crap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm the same way, just do a few things to keep your weight under control!.!.!.

like be careful of the calories you drink!. People forget that you can consume a lot of sugar and calories from drinks, so try to drink diet sodas, water, tea and you'll be cutting a lot of calories !.

just don't buy bad food!. If your mom is buying it or who ever see if they can cut back on buying junk food or put it somewhere that you can't see it and will be less tempted to eat it!.

buy low calorie junk food!.!.!.like the "Skinny Cow" ice cream bars and switch from greasy potato chips to the "Cape Cod" potato chips that are cooked in healthier oils!. Eat popcorn (keeps you full and isn't bad for you), canned soups (they are very low in calories!.!."Progressive" soup has usually 140 calories per can) Italian ice (fruit flavored ice), wheat thins, sun chips!.!.!.and so on!. You can eat as much as you want as long as you eat the right thing in my view :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you don't deserve to be fat!. You deserve to be healthy and happy with your weight!. Sugar craving is a real problem but you can overcome it!. When you want something sweet, try eating something salty or sour instead!. That usually "turns off" the sugar crave!. Or eat stuff that has natural sugars such as really good fruit!. It has to be ripe and it preferably doesn't come from the grocery store!. That stuff barely qualifies as food if it's been sitting around for more than a day!. Sugar and junk food are 2 different things!. Conquering sugar cravings is simple!. Eat no sugar, sugar substitutes, or High Fructose Corn Syrup for 2 weeks!. Sugar cravings gone!.

Make sure you get plenty of fat in your diet!. Eating low-fat foods will make you crave all sorts of things!. Just avoid trans fats and omega-6 fats as much as possible!. Omega 6 fats are vegetable oils like corn oil, canola oil, etc!. Olive oil, coconut oil, and butter are some of the best fats but don't heat the olive oil for cooking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok sweetie listen carfully!. you are only goinf to get control of your eating habits with self control ok when you see a fatty food or sweets than say to your self i dont want to eat that fat cause i will be fat and after a while the look of fatty foods will not bother you and you will be like me be able to sit in front of food and not eat it unless i am hungry and even if i am hungry it must be fruit vegetables or some other non fattening food cause dont forget you many be fat on the out side but your arteries and organs are suffering more on the inside!.

I know exactly how you feel!.!. im not overweight but i hava a jelly belly an i hate it!. But i cant stop eating !!! lol its not that i dont like healthy food i just think its a lot of effort to prepare them and such lol!. Get a noteboook and write down why cutting down on fatty foods will help you!.!. e!.g Make me feel better about myself, give me more confidence etc!. Also take a photo of yourself and everytime you get the urge to eat the junk look at the photograph!. Dont worry your not alone i feel the same !
Oh an dont stop eating junk altogether or you will want it more - recipe for disaster ! Just cut down and eat it in moderration!

No you dont deserve to be fat!.

Here are some things that can be caused by excess weight:
2 knee surgeries because of the excess weight on them
Type 2 Diabetes
Slow at running
Laziness
It costs more to drive!!
Pay more for clothes if you have to have them custom made
Clogged arteries

You need to put that stuff down and quit now!. Hard or not fat is ugly!. Did you know if you lose 1 pound you take 4 pounds of pressure off of your knees!? Kellogs I think said this!.

Lose 20 pounds and start eating healthy!. NO SODA and only one sugary thing a day sweet!. No cheese puffs and no chips unless baked and then dont eat many of them!. Stay away from low or no fat chips and diet drinks as they are worse for you than regular!.

Fat is also NOT appealing to the opposite sex!.

Maybe you shouldn't try to cut out all the junk!. You can't expect to never eat something that you love again!. So just try to change your eating habits slowly!.

Start by adding fruit and vegetables into each meal!. For snacks try healthier things like string cheese, carrots and a little bit of lite dressing or even baked chips or 100 calorie packs, if you really want something crunchy!. Just start out by trying to limit the amount of "Junk" food you eat each day!. As you get more use to a healthier diet, aim to only have one treat a day!. A little reward maybe after dinner for being good all day!.

I love sweets and junk food also, but I've learned to make healthier choices most of the time!. It's hard, but you can do it!.

It's not all or none!. Don't think of it that way!. Just try to start out by making small changes and work your way up!.

It is hard to stop eating junk food! I have the same problem, and so does my husband!. We have both started to eat more fruits, which satisfy the 'sweet tooth' we both seem to have!. Grapes are our favorite!.!.!. maybe that will help you!?

Its not easy, and if you do it all at once, you won't make it!. We still have chocolate from time to time (even every day some weeks), but we limit it to one piece, and try not to buy chips and things like that!. Once in a while is ok, but every day isn't good!. I would try to eliminate one snack per week, and then start to replace them with good ones!. So if you have 2 bags of chips and 3 candies per day, try doing it with 2 bags of chips and 2 candies, with one serving of grapes, and keep working the snacks out! But remember, just because you may not do well today, does not mean you can't start again tomorrow! Good luck :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Who's your best friend!? Tell them to stop you!. If your hand goes towards something that isn't good for you have them there to slap it away!. Clean out your house!. Don't keep junk food around, you'll be more likely to eat it if you have it around!.

I've never been in your position but both of my parents have been i diets and now my BF is trying to get in shape!. They've all been getting better but it often takes me dragging them kicking a screaming away from the junk food isle!. You need to go into this with more than just motivational words!.

hello, 5'2 should at most be 112 lbs!. and it depends on your body built and lifestyle!. about the junk food and sweets, set a day for it!. have a junk food day(2x a week then gradually make it 1 a week, then 2x a month, then 1 a month) it needs discipline and you are a step away from your goals!. drink more water at least 4 liters a day!.
buy smaller packs of junk food and don't keep them in the house!.
alternative snacks are fruits and vegetables!. Try not to buy those with artificial sweeteners!. they are not good for the health!. opt for low calorie ones!.

I am in the same boat as you!. I am 10 pounds over my ideal weight!. After I quit smoking, my craving have gotten worse!. I workout daily, although I don't gain but I don't lose either because all I do is crave things I should not be eating!.
It is hard and I am tired of quick fixes as well!. What we have to do is make a diet for ourselves and stick to eat!. Replace bad foods with good ones!. I noticed that if you eat healthy for 2 weeks, the cravings will stop but once you eat another fatty food again, you will be hooked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try eating less junk food!.
go to your pantry and throw away everything with more than 200 calories per serving!.
when you go to the grocery buy everything light!. (for example light ranch dressing is alot better than ranch dressing)
excercise every other day for 45 minutes and rotate between running and lifting weights etc!.

Please stop putting yourself down!. The way to stop your cravings for sugar is to load up on green vegetables and protein!. Do not eat bread or pasta of any kind!. Do this or 2 weeks!. Your cravings will disappear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
