Why is it so bad to eat after 7 o clock or like 2hrs before you sleep?!


Question: Why is it so bad to eat after 7 o clock or like 2hrs before you sleep!?
does ur metablism like automatically slow down at that time!.!.i heard if u eat at like 9 and go to bed right after it automatically gets stored as fat!.!.!.like what if i have a protein bar at nite before i go to bed is that a bad thing!.!.if so why or why not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a load of crap!.!.!.

It doesn't matter if you eat at noon or midnight!.!.!. Your body will do the exact same thing with the calories consumed!

Your body switches into Repair Mode at night and eating a meal before bed can disrupt your sleep because it causes your whole system to stay "Awake" and processing the food!.!.!.

But studies show that you actually sleep better if you have a LIGHT SNACK before bed that contains carbs and other things that break down into serotonin and melatonin, which help you sleep!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your metabolism slows down when you're asleep!. It has nothing to do with the time of day!.!.!. they just say 7pm because thats a few hours before most people go to bed!. If you go to bed at 3am every night, then obviously you can push it later than 7!. They say to give it a few hours because that way the food can digest and process before you go to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not a bad thing, it is true that u can gain more weight easier if u eat at night, but having a protein bar shouldn't hurt u at all, also i know that some people get heartburn when they eat at night!. But i wouldn't worry too much about becoming fat because you eat a little something at night, hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, your metabolism automatically slows down when you're actually asleep!. The reason you should stop eating 3 hours before bed is that's how long it takes to digest all your food!. If you go to bed with a stomach full of protein bad, most of that food will become fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

at that time your body is winding down and ready to rest, so it is harder for it to break down and digest food you eat!. it won't hurt if you have a small, healthy snack after 7, but if you eat alot of junk your body will not be able to digest it as well causing an increased amount of fat build up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because your not allowing your body enough time to digest it out!. It sits in your stomach overnight (which causes you to gain weight)!. Not to mention is very bad for your teeth as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
