Salty crunchy snack with minimal calories? Help?!


Question:

Salty crunchy snack with minimal calories? Help?

I'm so tired of carrot sticks and fruits and vegetables. I want something I can sink my teeth into but I'm struggling to keep enough of a calorie deficit to lose weight. I have to be extremely careful about snacks.

I have a modest and realistic weightloss goal of 1 lb per week. Pretzels are out - even baked pretzels. At 100 calories, one serving isn't very satisfying. Any other foods?

P.S. Sorry I have to say this, but for those who don't read questions before answering them, I don't need to know about drinking lots of water, getting enough fiber, exercising etc., etc. I do all that and more already. I just need suggestions on low-cal snacks that are crunchy/salty. Thanks


Answers:

I always go for Soy chips, usually Glenny's brand. (usually very low cal and low fat) Popcorn is good without the butter or maybe you can try those 100 calorie packs from Nabisco. Sometimes i use mustard as a dip because of that salty great taste.

Hummus is also a good idea. Try that with baked Pita bread.
