Eating most of intake within a few hours affecting abdominal area?!

Question:

Eating most of intake within a few hours affecting abdominal area?

I am currently fighting an eating disorder but I have noticed that I tend to eat most of my 1500ish calories within a few hours before I go to sleep, working out while I'm up in the day and when im eating the food. I have noticed that the area sticks out a bit more than normal (I think) in the lower abdominal area yet I am underweight, dont eat enough fat, do work out, and have very little body fat. Am I overreacting or am I stretching internal organs or something? A helpful answer would be great. Thanks!

Answers:

Sounds like you are just bloated from eating before bed. This also happens to me when I drink a lot of water and consume a lot in a short period of time.

The only time it would effect your internal organs is if you gain and loose weight frequently. The reason why is because your stomach is constantly shrinking and expanding, causing pressure and release on your kidneys. I battled with eating disorders most of my childhood and have finally gotten over it. At least you realize that you are slim instead of still thinking your fat, that is a huge start in the recovery process.

Also, every woman has a little fat on their lower abdominal area. You could do some crunches for your lower abdominal area by inclining your legs on a chain or bed. You should start intaking some fat though because if you ever decide to go off of your diet and start eating things that contain fat in them, you will gain twice as much weight as before whereas if you start now, your body will be used to it and you will be able to control your weight better.

The worst thing to do is eat before bed because your body doesn't have time to work it off. If you want cake, eat it in the morning because you have all day to burn it off through exercise and daily activity. My suggestion would be to spread your meals out throughout the day and keep from snacking inbetween meals. Do this by keeping a log of what you ate and when you ate it so you can better keep track of how much you consume in a period of time.
