Does Anybody else think "Competitive Eating" is grotesque and possibly!
Question:
Does Anybody else think "Competitive Eating" is grotesque and possibly dangerous?
One of these "competitors" (I use that term loosely) apparently has arthritis of the jaw. And doesn't it just stand to reason that these people are setting themselves up for all kinds of health issues like ulcers, digestion problems, etc.?
I was one of those people that thought calling poker, chess, and ballroom dancing "sports" was questionable, but this one is really over the top. What do you think?
Answers:
I just can't see how gluttony is something to be rewarded and proud of.
Poker, chess, well they aren't sports but they do take some concentration and skill to be good at. Ballroom dancing, not a sport, but very physical and it takes talent.
Stuffing your face? No talent.
