I had a friend who smokes recently tell me shes losing weight cause smoking makes her not hungry.. I didnt know smoking did this? is it true or is it just her?

It jumps your metabolism a little, and what it absolutely does is ruin your taste buds. When I stopped smoking, within weeks I realized that food actually tasted good! What a surprise.
Even if smoking helps you lose weight, it also gives you wrinkles, smoker's breath, and keeps you from taking many forms of birth control pills, as well as increases your chances of cancer and other fun diseases.
Better to be slightly overweight than dead.
