Is it true or a myth that you should eat before 7pm to aid weight loss?!

Question: Is it true or a myth that you should eat before 7pm to aid weight loss!?
Answers:
If you eat a high fat or carb meal after 7-8 pm, it CAN affect your weight loss!. My rule of thumb is, nothing but fruit or veggies after 7 pm, nothing at all after 10pm!. Eating like that can actually help because the natural fiber in fruits and veggies keeps your metabolism up without adding a ton for it to burn!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

K well it all boils down to metabolism!. If you eat right before bed and then go to sleep then the calories you ate dont get burned off as much as say breakfast and then go to work, school, gym, etc!. The worse thing you can do is to eat carbs such as white bread, white rice, or anything that is white i!.e!. potatoes, sugar!.!.!.The reason is that these things are meant to break down so that the body can use them for energy really quickly!. So if you are eating ice cream and then you go to sleep then where do you think the calories from the ice cream are going to go if you are burning next to no calories while you are asleep!? They are of course going to store in your body as fat, so that your body can use them at a later time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eating before 7 pm doesn't help you lose weight in itself!. However it prevents you from gaining excess weight, because if you eat most of your calories at the beginning of the day, you have the whole day to burn them off!.
But, if you eat lots at night, they will just stay in your body and be converted to fat because you don't have a chance to burn them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its more to do with eating before you sleep!. If you work nights, eating after 7 wont really make a difference!. The idea is not to go to sleep full!. If your working in a coal mine, it doesn't make a difference when you eat, your going to need the energy!. If your sitting at a desk, it doesn't help to not give your body a chance to digest/burn some energy before sleeping!. Thats why alot of people enjoy a walk after an evening meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its not so much 7pm that is the factor, it depends on when you eat dinner and what time you go to bed!. if you eat and go straight to bed, then youre not being "active" and the body doesnt get a chance to work off what it just consumed!. trying to stick to a normal routine, like eating around 6pm (dinnertime) should keep you in the clear!. either way, its not a huge contributor in weight loss!. its a combination of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is a myth but it is founded on the premise that when most people eat later in the evening the food choices are usually unhealthy ones, such as snack foods, ice cream, cookies, etc!. just meaningless snacking, sugar laden and high fat foods!. If your food choices are healthy throughout the day and evening, it should not be a problemWww@Answer-Health@Com

double edged sword here, it really depends on what is being eaten, but to be honest, it is a MYTH!.

If you don't eat after 7, and you wake up at 6am for breakfast, that is 11 hours in which you are starving your body!. Your metabolism will slow down as a result!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a myth and here's some research:

http://www!.sciencedaily!.com/releases/200!.!.!.

I have to stop myself eating at night because usually by then I've had all my daily calories and I just want to binge!. But as long as I exercise and keep my total calories for the day at a resonable level it doesn't seem to matter when I eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no magic time, it depends on when you go to sleep!. If you want to burn off what you eat and lose weight, then dont consume food within a few hours of bed time!. Anything you eat and dont burn off will be stored as fat when you go to sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com

well, it's not about you eat before 7 pm!.!. but our stomach needs at least 2 hours to properly digest everything!. Another thing, if u eat before 7 pm and u r not eating anything else before 7 am in the morning, ur body have the chance to burn more calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Myth!. Your body still burns calories when you sleep!. The rate at which you burn calories while sleeping is called your Resting Metabolic Rate!.

The only time you stop burning calories is when you die!. At that point, what you ate becomes irrelevant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, eat early enough so that there is activity afterward to burn clories!. Don't sleep after a meal!. P!.S!. Start with breakfast too, in order to jump start the metabolism and kick it into operative mode!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i heard it was a myth!!! but my mom swears by it she says its cuz you dont move in your sleep so the food just lies there!.!.!. i dont usually eat after 6 anyways cuz thats my diner time!.!.!.so i wouldnt know but im sure it would help!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actual time of seven or 8 pm is of little imprtance!. You should not eat anything for about 2 hours before going to bed!. It has to do with blood flow craeted after you eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
