Question: I need to lose 63 pounds!.!.!.!.will I have excess skin!?
I am 22and 5ft 8!.!.!.!.I have already lost 37 pounds and need to lose 63 pounds more!.!.!.!.

You may have some, but in the bigger scheme of things it's nothing to worry about!.

I am a big girl also trying to lose weight!. I've found a *huge* benefit from going to the gym!. The added muscles help firm up the jiggling loose areas!. Firming up muscles also means even if you don't lose lots and lots of weight, changing fat into muscle means you're heathier & your body doens't look so soft and squishy!. I started out working in the pool at first because I was so heavy and the pool is ideal for a good zero-impact workout!. Check into water aerobics or a deep-water workout program!.

In extreme cases a plastic surgeon can remove excess skin, but this is only for really bad cases!. It's expensive, painful, and may leave some small scars!. In your case, I don't think it applies to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you lose weight very quickly and do no exercise - if you starve yourself, basically!. You will have excess skin!.

If you are losing weight with a proper diet and proper exercise, your skin will readjust and your muscles will tighten during weight loss to prevent excess skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At your young age and if you lose it slowly (no more than 2 pounds per week), you most probably won't!. At 22, you are still producing enough collagen and elastin to firm your skin back into shape!. But, you need to exercise!. Pilates, yoga, calisthenics!.!.!.!. any of these would help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you lose weight slowly instead of a lot at once your chances of having a lot of loose skin deminish!.
Also, the younger you are of course the more elastic your skin is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you add weight training, and tone your muscles while you lose weight, no you won't have excess skin!. Try talking to a trainer at a gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes if u lose it 2 fast!. but if u take ur time ur skin will elastic 2 ur shape!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are almost taking a 3rd of your body away, you will have some excess skin but not a lot!.!.!. my dad went from 312 to 150 and he has some excess skin but it's not noticable under clothes!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
