When I eat the fat isn't stored anywhere in my body? Weird!?!

Question:

When I eat the fat isn't stored anywhere in my body? Weird!?

I'm trying to PUT ON weight because my mum keeps telling me that i'm too thin and that preteens need to eat because you're in the HORMONE introducing stage. The only thing is, I don't know where the fat in the food that I eat is stored! Not in my abdomen, my thighs, NO-WHERE! Now i'm forced to eat almost like crazy! (well, not literally of course!) I'm saving up for a scale so I can find out how much I weigh and if I'm putting on weight or losing it! I'm 11 and I think i'm in my early 40 kg. Weird!

PS: My family doesn't own a bathroom scale. Another PS: I know this question is the opposite of one of those LOSING weight

Answers:

You have a very fast metabolism, which means that it is difficult for you to put on weight. You are so young though, you still haven't filled out. Give it time, your body will change. In other words, I wouldn't worry. Just be young and have fun!
