Question about vitamins?!


Question: Question about vitamins!?
I have been advised by someone who seems to know what they are talking about that I should be taking a mutli vitamin, (which has 100% DV folic acid) PLUS a vitamin B supplement (which has 200% DV folic acid) to prepare for and during pregnancy!. Question- can you have too much folic acid!? I know I need extra B but I am worried that I am being mislead!. Anyone know if it is possible to over dose on vitamins!? It is possible to OD on certain vitamins, however, you cannot OD on folic acid (vit!. B9)!. The only warning is that high doses (over 1500 mcg/day) should be avoided as it can cause a variety of symptoms like nausea and loss of appetite!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Isn't pregnancy a little too serious of a subject to get advice from "someone who seems to know what they are talking about"!?!?!?

If you're thinking of getting pregnant any time soon, how about making an appointment with your OB and talking to her about it!. She really does know what she's talking about!.
