the only real side effect, if you can even call it that, is that you may retain some extra water in your muscles!. This is not necessarily good or bad!. Some would say the extra weight is bad, some would say having the water in your muscles is good!. The larger effect of creatine is that will allow you to lift just a little bit longer with the heavy weight before you run out of power!.
im not sure what Ryan is talking about when he says 'the best' creatine!. cellmas is just a name brand with added flavors and stuff!. Creatine monohydrate is the most studied and one of the few supplements most agree is helping!. You can also buy creatine in other forms such as ethyl ester or AKG, they are just absorbed differently by your body!. you want to make sure you take your creatine before you lift so its in your system!. but it wont hurt to take it after as well!.
