Caligirl - I would have answered this yesterday but ran out of answers for the day!.

To think that you were anorexic is just ridiculous!. According to the dimensions you listed, your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 19!.2 which is within the normal weight range!. My wife is 5'2" and 95 lbs!. and is extremely healthy!. Her family also had an issue with her weight

Simply put, many Americans in general have an issue with weight, but it is being to heavy!. As a result, the American standard for what people should look like is unrealistic!. For my wife, it was family members who are morbidly obese according to BMI that suggested she was underweight!.

Please do not think that BMI is the answer to all things related to weight because of my answer!. I also feel this is flawed!. I am 6'2" and weigh 196 pounds!. That puts me at just oveweight, but I lift weights with my wife 7 days per week!. My overall body fat is in the healthy range!.

If you ever truly wonder about whether you weight is healthy or not, the best thing you can do is have a body fat calculation done!. The most accurate method that isn't to difficult to come by would be fat calipers!. But in general, it is fairly rare for someone to actually be underweight according to what is healthy!. If worse comes to worse, move to Europe and you will fit right in!. Let family and friends that pig out on fatty foods and sit around all day gaining weight think what they will!. You know what makes you happy and you aren't hurting anyone!.!.!.!.not even yourself!. That's all that matters!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they might think you are bulemic, scarfing down food and they vomiting it up!.
but though i dont know how to prove to them your not, i can say a healthy weight for your age and height is about 120, though this can rang by 15% both ways!.
you know this because you should be 20 lbs for every foot and 5 lbs for every inch!.
so 5 foot (20 lbs X 5 = 100 lbs) plus 4 inches (5 lbs X 5 = 20 lbs!.
voila!
show this to them, it might help!. and if need be get help from an adult or doctor to clarify!.
much luck!

your friends obviously dont know what an eating disorder is then!. just because your a little bit thin doesnt meant you have an eating disorder!. an eating disorder is when someone is very skinny, but still thinks theyre fat!. im 5-7 16 and 120lbs and a guy, im skinny but i still eat alot and no one thinks i have an eating disorderWww@Answer-Health@Com

that weight might be a couple pounds underweight, but it's not because you have an eating disorder! you're just naturally thin, which means you're perfectly healthy!
Explain to them that everyone's bodies work differently, everyone has different metabolisms, so don't worry about you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I weigh 120 pounds at 5'8''!. Your BMI is 19!.2, a normal BMI for someone your height is between 18!.5 and 24!.9!. Yes you may be skinny, but some people are just natually like that!. Make sure you eat in front of them, And tell them you don't like them calling you that cause you are not!. Hope I helped!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
